2010 New Zealand Warriors Season
The New Zealand Warriors 2010 season was the New Zealand Warriors 16th first-grade season. The club competed in Australasia's National Rugby League and finished fifth in regular season before being eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. The coach of the team was Ivan Cleary while Simon Mannering was the club's captain. The Warriors won the club championship award for having the best combined results between the first grade team and the under-20s. The Junior Warriors then went on to win the Toyota Cup grand final, the club's first grand final win in sixteen years. Ivan Cleary
Ivan Cleary (born 1 March 1971) is an Australian professional rugby league coach who is the head coach of the Penrith Panthers in the NRL and a former professional rugby league footballer who played as a and in the 1990s and 2000s. He is a former head coach of the Wests Tigers and New Zealand Warriors, as well as the two time NRL Premiership winning head coach of the Penrith Panthers, who led the Panthers to the 2021 premiership in the National Rugby League. Brett Seymour (born 27 September 1984) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who last played for the Dewsbury Rams. His usual position was in the halves. Seymour previously played in the National Rugby League for the Brisbane Broncos, Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks and New Zealand Warriors before moving to England where he joined Super League club, Hull FC. Lance Koro Hohaia (born 1 April 1983), also known by the nickname of "The Huntly Hurricane", is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer.
