Montreux Volley Masters
The Montreux Volley Masters (founded as the Coupe des Nations, later changed to BCV Volley Cup between 1990 and 1996 and to its current name in 1998) is an international invitational tournament for national teams in women's volleyball hosted by the Swiss Volley. Held annually in Montreux, Switzerland since 1984, it is the tournament that opens the international season for national teams. The main objective of this competition is to work as a preparation for more important and prestigious volleyball tournaments organized by the ''Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' ( FIVB), such as the World Grand Prix, the World Championship, the World Cup and the Olympic Games. Many national teams use the tournament as a way of giving experience and international baggage to young players and, as a result, countries are often represented by their underage national teams. Montreux
Montreux (, , ; frp, Montrolx) is a Swiss municipality and town on the shoreline of Lake Geneva at the foot of the Alps. Kenia Carcaces
Kenia Carcaces Opón (born 22 January 1986, in Holguín), also known as Kenia Carcaces, is a Cuban volleyball player who competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics, finishing fourth with the Cuban team in the Olympic tournament. She won the 2007 Pan American Games gold medal in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Career At the 2007 Cuban ''Liga Nacional'', Carcaces was selected ''Best digger''. Tatiana Kosheleva
Tatiana Sergeyevna Kosheleva (''russian: Татья́на Серге́евна Ко́шелева'', born 23 December 1988) is a Russian volleyball player. She was a member of the Russia women's national volleyball team that won the gold medal at the 2010 World Championship, the 2013 European Championship and the 2015 European Championship. Career Club At club level, she played for Dinamo Moscow, Zarechie Odintsovo, Dinamo Kazan and Dinamo Krasnodar before joining Eczacıbaşı VitrA in 2016. Kosheleva led Dinamo Krasnodar with 37 points in the final match to win the 2014–15 CEV Cup gold medal and the Most Valuable Player award. Berenika Tomsia (born March 18, 1988) is a Polish volleyball player. She is a gold medalist of Summer Universiade Bangkok 2007 and bronze medalist of Summer Universiade Belgrad 2009. Wei Qiuyue (; born 26 September 1988) is a retired Chinese volleyball player. She was the captain of China women's national volleyball team between 2008-2012. Career She was part of the bronze medal winning teams at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the silver medal winning teams at the 2007 World Grand Prix. She won the 2010 Montreux Volley Masters with her national team, being awarded "Best Setter". She was named Best Setter at the 2010 World Championship. After a disappointed fifth place at the 2012 Summer Olympics, in 2013 she took a year off from the national team to repair her knee. Hui Ruoqi
Hui Ruoqi (; born 4 March 1991) is a former Chinese volleyball player. She is the Outside Hitter and the fifteenth Captain of China women's national volleyball team, and plays for Jiangsu. She retired in 2018. Early life On March 4, 1991, Hui was born in Dalian. Her parents are Hui Fei (惠飞) and Xu Xueyuan (许雪媛). She has a sister Hui Ruoxuan (惠若璇) who is ten years her junior. Both of her parents were keen volleyball players when they were young. When Hui was 9, her family moved and settled in Nanjing. Hui is the alumnus of Nanjing No.29 Middle School and received her master's degree in physical education from Nanjing Normal University in 2017. Nicole Marie Davis (born April 24, 1982) is a retired American indoor volleyball player and mindset coach at Compete To Create, founded by Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll and high performance psychologist, Michael Gervais. Nicole last played professionally for Le Cannet Rocheville in France and retired in 2015. She is 5'4" (167 cm) and played the libero position. She played for Fenerbahçe Women's Volleyball team for the 2007 season and wore the number 1 jersey.
