2010 ICC Americas Championship Division Four
The 2010 ICC Americas Championship Division Four was a cricket tournament held in Mexico City, Mexico, which took place between 14 June and 16 June 2010. It gave three Affiliate members of the International Cricket Council from the Americas region experience of international one-day cricket and formed part of the global World Cricket League structure. Following on from the 50 over tournament, the three teams played a Twenty20 tournament which ran from 17 June to 18 June 2010. Teams There were three teams participating in the tournament. These teams are non-Test members of the ICC Americas region. ICC Americas
ICC Americas is an international body which oversees cricket in countries in the Americas. It is a subordinate body to the International Cricket Council (ICC). The organisation currently has 17 members, located in Northern America, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean, and is responsible for the development, promotion and administration of the game in the above regions. ICC Americas oversees the regional qualification tournaments for the Cricket World Cup, the Women's Cricket World Cup, the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, and the Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Previously it ran the ICC Americas Championship as the premier international competition in the region. ''Rishi'' () is a term for an accomplished and enlightened person. They find mentions in various Vedic texts. Rishis are believed to have composed hymns of the Vedas. In cricket, a batter is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batter is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress.
