2010 Golden Awards
The 2010 Golden Awards was an awards ceremony held in Malaysia. It is the inaugural ceremony and was held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre in Putrajaya. The list of nominees was published in July and the ceremony took place in September. The show was hosted by 988 FM radio DJ Cheryl Lee and Singaporean host and actor Bryan Wong. A special episode called "Golden Awards Prelude" featuring the nominees from each category was aired on ntv7 during the weeks leading up to the ceremony. Guest presenters and performers include Quan Yi Fong, Wu Jiahui, Nicholas Teo, Fish Leong, Jamii Szmadzinski, Sam Lee (singer), Sam Lee, Aarif Rahman and Godfrey Gao. Bryan Wong
Bryan Wong Lok Kiang (, born on 30 January 1971) is a Singaporean television host and actor. Career Wong began his career as a child actor in 1981 and featured in several popular children's programmes on SBC. He began performing modelling assignments and commercials while still a teenager. In 1994, he joined TCS as a full-time artiste after a short stint as an interior designer. Although his first hosting role was for the teenage lifestyle programme ''Gen Y'', it was the infotainment programme ''City Beat'' during the late 1990s that first exposed him to television audiences. While his co-hosts Kym Ng and Sharon Au were winning awards at the annual Star Awards, he was not well received by the general public. ''Age of Glory'' () is a Chinese drama series which co-produce by Double Vision and ntv7. It was telecast on every Monday to Thursday, at 9.45 pm on Malaysia's ntv7 channel. This period drama was set in the early years of the independence of Malaysia. The cast in this series are renowned artists such as Debbie Goh who was based on TVB in Hong Kong, together with ntv7's reporters, Danielle Dai and Aenie Wong. Also, guest appearance by Janet Khoo. Jesseca Liu () (刘芷绚/劉芷絢; ; pinyin: "''Liu Zhi Xuan''" was her previous Chinese stage name) (born 13 February 1979) is a Malaysian actress, who is based in Singapore and was named as one of the Seven Princesses of Mediacorp in 2006. Apple Hong (; born 31 October 1978) is a Malaysia-Born Singaporean actress and singer. She was a Mediacorp artiste from 1999 to 2011 but continues to film on TV and ad-hoc basis. Career Hong was first runner-up in the Malaysian edition of Star Search 1999 and moved to Singapore after being offered a contract by TCS (now MediaCorp). Zen Chong (; born on 15 August 1978) is a Malaysian actor who is based in Singapore and contracted artiste under MediaCorp.
