The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television's 25th Gemini Awards were held on November 15, 2010, to honour achievements in Canadian television. The awards show, which was hosted by Cory Monteith, took place at Toronto’s Winter Garden Theatre and was broadcast on Showcase and Global. ''Alice'' is a 2009 television miniseries that was originally broadcast on Canadian cable television channel Showcase and an hour later on American cable television channel Syfy. Carl Binder (born August 10, 1960) is a Canadian television writer and producer. He is most noted for his contributions to the ''Stargate SG-1'' and ''Stargate Atlantis'' series as well as ''Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman'' and ''Little Men''.
