2010 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship
The 2010 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship was the 27th edition of the FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship. 16 teams featured the competition, held in Lithuania from July 22 to August 1. Serbia was the defending champion. Lithuania won the title after beating Russia in the final. Jonas Valančiūnas
Jonas Valančiūnas ( ; ; born 6 May 1992) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was selected by the Toronto Raptors with the fifth overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft. At the 2019 trade deadline, he was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies. In the 2021 offseason he was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans. Valančiūnas has been a member of the Lithuania men's national basketball team since age 19. Oleksiy Yuriyovych Len ( uk, Олексій Ю́рійович Лень; born June 16, 1993), commonly known as Alex Len (), is a Ukrainian professional basketball player for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Before being drafted, he played two seasons for the Maryland Terrapins (then in the Atlantic Coast Conference) as well as a season with Dnipro in his home nation's top professional basketball league. Jeep Arena is a 2,741-seat basketball arena in Vilnius, Lithuania, built next to Avia Solutions Group Arena. Rytas Vilnius play the Lithuanian Basketball League's home matches in the arena. Vytenis Čižauskas (born September 16, 1992) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player. He plays the point guard position. Career From an early age, Čižauskas played for the Žalgiris youth team. In his second season, he led the team in points and assists; as a consequence, he was promoted to Kaunas Triobet of BBL. In March 2009, he was moved to Žalgiris' main roster; however, the young point guard saw limited playing time in the LKL.
