2010 European Ladies' Team Championship
The 2010 European Ladies' Team Championship took place 6–10 July at La Manga Club in Cartagena, Spain. It was the 28th women's golf amateur European Ladies' Team Championship. Venue The hosting La Manga Club, located with three golf courses in the south-eastern region of Spain, Murcia, south of La Manga, and bordered by the Mar Menor and Calblanque Regional Park, was opened in 1972. The South Course was designed by golf architect Robert Dean Putman in 1971 and remodeled in 2005 by Arnold Palmer. The championship course was set up with par 73. Format All participating teams played two qualification rounds of stroke-play with six players, counted the five best scores for each team. La Manga Club is a sports and leisure resort located in the south-eastern region of Spain, Murcia, south of La Manga, and bordered by the Mar Menor and Calblanque Regional Park. The resort complex opened in 1972 and covers an area of 1,400 acres (560 ha). La Manga
La Manga (), or La Manga del Mar Menor (meaning "The Sandbar of the Minor Sea") is a seaside spit of Mar Menor in the Region of Murcia, Spain. The strip is 21 km long and 100 metres wide (average), separating the Mediterranean Sea from the Mar Menor (Minor Sea) lagoon, from Cabo de Palos to the Punta del Mojón. Historically, it was known by the Romans as ''Palus'' and later by the Moors as ''Al Buhayrat Al Qsarand''. In the 17th century its name changed to ''Mar Chico'', meaning "small sea" and later as El Mar Menor. Sanna Nuutinen
Sanna Nuutinen (born 8 April 1991) is a Finnish professional golfer playing on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and LPGA Tour. In 2019, she was runner-up at the Tipsports Czech Ladies Open and in 2020, she finished 5th on the LET Order of Merit. Amateur career Nuutinen represented Finland at the 2007 and 2008 European Girls' Team Championship before capturing the bronze in the 2009 edition. Holly Clyburn
Holly Clyburn (born 7 February 1991) is an English professional golfer who currently plays on the Ladies European Tour. She was a member of the victorious 2012 Great Britain and Ireland Curtis Cup team and won her first professional tournament at the Deloitte Ladies Open in 2013, her rookie year on tour. Hannah Burke (born 28 March 1988) is an English professional golfer, member of the Ladies European Tour (LET) and winner of the 2015 Tipsport Golf Masters. Manon De Roey (born 12 December 1991) is a professional golfer from Belgium who plays on the Ladies European Tour. In 2022, she won the Aramco Team Series – Bangkok individual title. Laura Gonzalez Escallon (born 6 October 1990) is a professional golfer from Belgium who has played on the LPGA Tour and the Symetra Tour.
