2010 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship
The 2010 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship was held Nov. 14-21, 2009 at the Burlington Golf and Country Club in Burlington, Ontario. Nova Scotia won its seventh Mixed title, and Skip (curling), skip Mark Dacey won his second title with then-wife, Heather Smith-Dacey as his Glossary of curling#Mate, mate who won her third. The team's front end of Andrew Gibson (curler), Andrew Gibson and Jill Mouzar won their first mixed title. Dacey and Smith-Dacey were scheduled to represent Canada at the 2010 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship, but were not able to make it to the event due to the 2010 eruptions of Eyjafjallajökull. Burlington, Ontario
Burlington is a city in the Regional Municipality of Halton at the northwestern end of Lake Ontario in Ontario, Canada. Along with Milton to the north, it forms the western end of the Greater Toronto Area and is also part of the Hamilton metropolitan census area. History Before the 19th century, the area between the provincial capital of York and the township of West Flamborough was home to the Mississauga nation. In 1792, John Graves Simcoe, the first lieutenant governor of Upper Canada, named the western end of Lake Ontario "Burlington Bay" after the town of Bridlington in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Jared Bezanson
Jared Bezanson (born May 11, 1986 in Kentville, Nova Scotia) is a Canadian curler from Quispamsis, New Brunswick. He currently plays lead on Team Scott Jones. As a junior curler, Bezanson won a silver medal at the 2003 Canada Winter Games. He won three straight New Brunswick junior titles from 2003 to 2005, throwing lead rocks for Daniel Sherrard (2003) and for Ryan Sherrard (2004 and 2005). At the 2003 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, the team finished the round robin with a 6-6 record. The team went on to win the gold medal at the 2004 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. They represented Canada at the 2004 World Junior Curling Championships, finishing in 5th place. Jeremy Mallais (born July 18, 1988) is a Canadian curler from Moncton, New Brunswick. He is currently the alternate on Team Scott Jones. Career Mallais finished second at the 2008 New Brunswick Tankard, losing the final to James Grattan 9–2. He also lost in the final in 2010 playing lead for Terry Odishaw and finished third in 2013 playing third for Jason Vaughan. He won his first Tankard title in 2015 at the 2015 Pepsi Tankard and went on to have a 2–9 record at the 2015 Tim Hortons Brier in Calgary. He joined Team Scott Jones for the 2019–20 season. They won the Atlantic Superstore Monctonian Challenge and the Steele Cup Cash on the World Curling Tour and played in the 2019 Tour Challenge Tier 2 Grand Slam of Curling event. Kerri Einarson (; born October 3, 1987 as Kerri Flett) is a Canadian Métis curler from Camp Morton, Manitoba, in the Rural Municipality of Gimli.
