2010 Boston Red Sox Season
The 2010 Boston Red Sox season was the 110th season in the franchise's Major League Baseball history. With a record of 89 wins and 73 losses, the Red Sox finished third in the American League East, seven games behind the Tampa Bay Rays, and failed to advance to the postseason for the first time since 2006. American League East
The American League East is one of Major League Baseball's six divisions. MLB consists of an East, Central, and West division for each of its two 15-team leagues, the American League (AL) and National League (NL). This division was created before the start of the season along with the American League West division. Before that time, each league consisted of 10 teams without any divisions. Four of the division's five teams are located in the Eastern United States, with the other team, the Toronto Blue Jays, in Eastern Canada. Jon Rish
Jon Rish (born 1973) is an American former radio personality, best known for his work in the Boston area. Career Rish was a radio host for WEEI-FM in Boston. Rish attended Boston College and began his sportscasting experience on WZBC, the school's 1000-watt FM radio station broadcasting to the Greater Boston area. Rish's broadcasting career began in 1993, when he was an intern on Boston sports radio host Dale Arnold's WEEI program. He subsequently broadcast college sports on several Boston-area stations. Hunter Jones
David Hunter Jones (born January 10, 1984) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Boston Red Sox in 2009 and the Florida Marlins in 2010. Amateur career Jones played college baseball at Florida State University in 2004 and 2005, but missed much playing time due to a fractured arm. Jones had successful surgery but went undrafted. Rocco Daniel Baldelli (; born September 25, 1981) is an American former professional baseball outfielder and coach who is the manager of the Minnesota Twins of Major League Baseball (MLB).
