The 2010 BCR Open Romania was a men's tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was the 18th edition of the event known that year as the BCR Open Romania, and was part of the ATP World Tour 250 series of the 2010 ATP World Tour. The ATP 250 tournaments (previously known as the ''ATP World Tour 250'' tournaments, ''ATP International Series'', and ''ATP World Series'') are the lowest tier of annual men's tennis tournaments on the main ATP Tour, after the four Grand Slam (tennis), Grand Slam tournaments, ATP Finals, ATP Tour Masters 1000, ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, and ATP 500 tournaments. Andreas Seppi
Andreas Seppi (born 21 February 1984) is an Italian former professional tennis player. He reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 18 on 28 January 2013. He became the first Italian to win a title on all three surfaces. Tennis career 2001–2003: Professional and ATP debut Seppi turned pro in 2001, playing exclusively on the ATP Futures and ATP Challenger Series circuit for three seasons. Romanian Open
The Romanian Open (also known as the BRD Năstase Țiriac Trophy) was a professional men's tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was part of the ATP World Tour 250 series of the ATP Tour. It was held annually in Bucharest, Romania, since 1993. Its name is taken from Romania's famous tennis players Ilie Năstase and Ion Țiriac. The tournament never saw a Romanian winner in singles (though the 2005 edition saw two Romanian players reaching the semifinals, and the 2007 edition saw Victor Hănescu reach the finals), but a Romanian pair (Andrei Pavel and Gabriel Trifu) took home the doubles title in 1998. Also, Horia Tecău took three consecutive doubles titles at the tournament (2012, 2013 & 2014), each time with a different partner. Marcel Granollers
Marcel Granollers Pujol (; ; born 12 April 1986) is a Spanish professional tennis player. He reached his career-high singles ranking of world No. 19 in July 2012, and his career-high doubles ranking of world No. 4 in February 2013. Granollers has won four ATP singles titles and 24 doubles titles, including the 2012 ATP World Tour Finals. Simone Vagnozzi (; born 30 May 1983) is an Italian former professional tennis player. Vagnozzi had a career high ATP singles ranking of world No. 161 achieved on 7 November 2011.
