2010 All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling Championship
The 2010 All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling Championship was the 27th staging of the All-Ireland hurling championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1961. The championship began on 30 May 2010 and ended on 28 August 2010. Cork were the defending champions, however, they were defeated by Kilkenny who won the title following a 2-17 to 1-13 victory in the final. Pat Hoban (hurler)
Patrick Hoban (born 1968) is an Irish hurling manager and former player. At club level he lined out with Mullinavat and was also a member of the Kilkenny senior hurling team. Hoban later served as a manager with various Kilkenny teams. Playing career Born in Mullinavat, County Kilkenny, Hoban first came to prominence at juvenile and underage levels with the local club. He eventually joined the club's top adult team and was a member of their County Intermediate Championship-winning teams in 1989 and 2001. Hoban first appeared on the inter-county scene as a member of the Kilkenny minor team in 1986 before later winning a Leinster Championship medal with the under-21 team in 1988. He made a number of National League appearances with the Kilkenny senior hurling team and was an unused substitute on the 1992 All-Ireland Championship-winning team. Eoin Guinan
Eoin Guinan (born 4 February 1986) is an Irish hurler who plays for Western Australian club Sarsfields. He began his career with St. Lachtain's and is a former member of the Kilkenny senior hurling team. Career Born in Freshford, County Kilkenny, Guinan first came to prominence with the St Lachtain's club that won championship titles in various grades of Gaelic football. He later captained the St Lachtain's intermediate hurling team to the 2010 All-Ireland Club Championship title. O'Connor Park
O'Connor Park ( ga, Páirc Uí Chonchúir) is a GAA stadium in Tullamore, County Offaly, Ireland. It is one of the principal grounds of the Offaly GAA Gaelic football and hurling teams. It is known for sponsorship reasons as Bord na Móna O’Connor Park. The ground was opened in 1934, to replace Ballyduff Park, and currently has a capacity of 18,000. The GAA Hurling Intermediate All-Ireland Championship, known simply as the All-Ireland Intermediate Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). Fraher Field ( ga, Páirc Uí Fhearachair) is a GAA stadium, located in Dungarvan, County Waterford, owned by the Waterford GAA County Board. It has a total capacity of around 15,000. History Dan Fraher (1852–1929), an Irish language activist and scholar and promoter of Gaelic games, leased the land in 1885 and bought it outright in 1912. The stadium was renamed in his honour in 1995. The Semple Stadium is the home of hurling and Gaelic football for Tipperary GAA and for the province of Munster. Munster Intermediate Hurling Championship
The Munster Hurling Intermediate Championship is an annual hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1961 for the strong hurling teams in the province of Munster in Ireland. In some cases the teams consist of players who are not on the senior squads for their county (thus in effect, they are a second team), or in others of players who are from junior or intermediate clubs. UPMC Nowlan Park (; ) is the principal Gaelic Athletic Association stadium in Kilkenny, Ireland. Wexford Park
Chadwicks Wexford Park is a GAA stadium in Wexford, County Wexford, Republic of Ireland. It is the home of Wexford GAA's Gaelic football and hurling teams. After a recent development the ground has a capacity of about 18,000. It is located in the Clonard area on the outskirts of Wexford Town, and although the ground does not have floodlights it regularly hosts evening matches during the brighter summer months.
