2010 AFC Women's Asian Cup Qualification
The 2010 AFC Women's Championship qualification saw twelve nations attempt to qualify for the 2010 AFC Women's Asian Cup football competition. The three winners of the second round groups joined five automatic qualifiers in the finals tournament held in China in May 2010. This tournament also served as the first stage of qualification for the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup for the Asian zone. First round The six lowest ranked teams played the first round. Myanmar, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Iran, Vietnam and Hong Kong had a bye to the second round. Bangladesh withdrew before the start of qualification. Stephanie Mazen Yousef Al-Naber ( ar, ستيفاني مازن يوسف النبر; born 27 October 1988) is a Jordanian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Jordan Women's Football League club Shabab Al-Ordon and captains the Jordan national team. Club career Al-Naber learned to play football in the street with her family. She later played on her school's team and began her career with Shabab Al-Ordon, one of the first Jordanian clubs in the country to start a women's team. Al-Naber later became the first Jordanian woman to play football in leagues abroad. She played for clubs in Denmark, the United Arab Emirates, and Lebanon. Shahnaz Yaseen Mahmoud Jebreen (; born 28 July 1992) is a Jordanian footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Jordan national team. Club career At the club level, Jebreen played for Amman and Orthodox in Jordan. She was nominated Best Player of the 2022 WAFF Women's Clubs Championship, in which Orthodox finished runners-up. Rita Binti Gani (born 11 May 1977 in Sabah, Malaysia) is a Malaysian association football referee. A corporal in the Royal Malaysia Police force, she began officiating in 2004 and was added to the FIFA international list of referees in 2006.
