2009–2010 Israeli Final Four
The 2009–2010 Israeli Final Four, the fifth Israeli Final Four was held at Yad Eliyahu Arena, Tel Aviv, Israel on 25 and 27 May 2010 to determine the winner of the 2009–2010 Israeli League. The contestants were Maccabi Tel Aviv, the 2008–2009 Israeli League champion and the 2009–2010 Israeli State Cup winner, Hapoel Jerusalem, Gilboa/Galil and Elitzur Maccabi Netanya. Gilboa/Galil won their 2nd Israeli League crown, beating Maccabi Tel Aviv 90–77 in the final. Venue The Yad Eliyahu Arena is an indoor sports arena in Tel Aviv, Israel. Opened in 1963 with its seating capacity varying from 5,000 to 11,700, it had hosted the 1971–1972 FIBA European Champions Cup final, the 1993–1994 FIBA European Championship Final Four, the 2003–04 Euroleague Final Four, and all previous Israeli Final Four. Yad Eliyahu Arena
Menora Mivtachim Arena ( he, היכל מנורה מבטחים; also known as the Yad Eliyahu Arena, ; and formerly known as the Nokia Arena, ) is a large multi-purpose sports indoor arena that is located in southeast Tel Aviv, Israel. The arena is primarily used to host tennis matches, basketball games, and concerts. It is one of the major sporting facilities in the Greater Tel Aviv Area. The arena is owned by the municipality of Tel Aviv, and is managed by Sports Palaces Ltd., a company also fully owned by the municipality (which also manages Bloomfield Stadium and Drive in Arena). Brandon Hunter
Brandon Hunter (November 24, 1980 – September 12, 2023) was an American professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association (NBA). After a college basketball career with the Ohio Bobcats, leading the NCAA in rebounding in 2002–03, he was selected by the Boston Celtics in the second round of the 2003 NBA draft. After playing one season apiece for the Celtics and the Orlando Magic in the NBA, he started a journeyman playing career, mostly in Europe. Dijon Lynn Thompson (born February 23, 1983) is an American former professional basketball player who played briefly in the National Basketball Association (NBA). While he played mainly at the shooting guard position in his early career, he also played as a small forward during his European years. Doron Perkins (born on May 6, 1983) is a former American professional basketball player and currently an assistant coach for Maccabi Tel Aviv B.C. of the Euroleague. Standing at 1.91 m (6 ft 3 in) he can play as either a point guard or a shooting guard. Gal Mekel ( he, גל מקל, pronounced ; born March 4, 1988) is an Israeli former professional basketball player. He played for the Dallas Mavericks and spent time in Europe and Israel.
