2009–10 Weber State Wildcats Men's Basketball Team
The 2009–10 Weber State Wildcats men's basketball team represented Weber State University during the 2009–10 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This was head coach Randy Rahe's fourth season at Weber State. The Wildcats competed in the Big Sky Conference and played their home games at the Dee Events Center. Weber State won the Big Sky regular season championship for the third time in the last four years and as the champion hosted the semifinals and championship game of the 2010 Big Sky men's basketball tournament. The Wildcats lost to Montana in the championship game and were invited to the 2010 National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round for the second consecutive year. Randy Rahe
Randy Michael Rahe (born June 12, 1960) is an American college basketball coach and the former head men's basketball coach at Weber State University. Randy Rahe was hired on March 23, 2006, as the 9th coach in Weber State's 47-year history. Rahe announced his retirement May 16, 2022 through the University, Rahe came to WSU from the University of Utah where he was an assistant under former coach Ray Giacoletti. Rahe was also an assistant under Stew Morrill for 13 seasons, first at Colorado State University and then at Utah State University. Rahe posted a record of 54–17 as a high school coach in Colorado from 1985 to 1988. He has also been an assistant coach at Colorado College, Colorado and Denver. Born in Bancroft, Iowa, Rahe graduated from Buena Vista University located in Storm Lake, Iowa in 1982. At BVU he played point guard in basketball and shortstop in baseball. Pocatello High School
Pocatello High School is a four-year public high school in Pocatello, Idaho, United States. It is the oldest of the three traditional high schools of the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District and serves the southwest portion. The school colors are red and blue and the mascot was an "Indian"; the city's namesake, Chief Pocatello, was the leader of the Shoshone people. Franklin "Frank Nitty" Session (born January 23, 1989) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Al-Gharafa of the Qatari Basketball League. He is best known for his performance in the Drew League, where he won four consecutive league MVPs. Snead State Community College
Snead State Community College is a public community college in Boaz, Alabama. It began as a private seminary in 1898 and became part of the Alabama Community College System in 1967.
