2009–10 Ukrainian Second League
The 2009–10 Ukrainian Second League was the 19th season of 3rd level professional football in Ukraine. The competitions were divided into two groups according to geographical location in the country – A is western Ukraine and B is eastern Ukraine. Due to the 2009 flu pandemic which affected Ukraine in late October the PFL decide to break for winter earlier than they originally scheduled. The second half of the season began March 14, 2009. FC Dynamo Khmelnytskyi
FC Podillya Khmelnytskyi is a professional Ukrainian football team that is based in Khmelnytskyi, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, Ukraine. The club competes in the Ukrainian Second League. History Soviet era Established in the Soviet Union as part of the Dynamo sports society in 1926 as Dynamo Proskurov (Proskuriv), the club participated mostly in championships of the city and its region. In 1940 and 1941, it represented the region in the republican competitions among the sports societies of Ukraine. During World War II, the Soviet sports competitions were suspended and the club was disbanded. After the World War II, Podillya once again started out as a subsection of the Soviet Dynamo athletic franchise in 1948, under the name of Dynamo, of course. In 1951, it entered all Ukrainian republican football competitions. In 1960, the club obtained the status of "team of master" and entered the Soviet Class B competitions. 2010–11 Ukrainian First League
The 2010–11 Ukrainian First League was the 20th since its establishment. Eighteen teams competed in the competition. Two teams were promoted from the 2009–10 Ukrainian Second League and a third team replaced a team that withdrew from the competition. The competition began on July 17, 2010, with six matches. The competition had a winter break and resumed March 19, 2011. FC Skala Morshyn
FC Skala Stryi is a Ukrainian football professional team from Stryi in Lviv oblast. The club currently competes in the Ukrainian Second League. It plays at Medyk Stadium in Morshyn that used to belong to former FC Medyk Morshyn. It is the fourth reincarnation of Ukrainian sports club that existed in Austria-Hungary (Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria) in 1911. FC Ros Bila Tserkva is a Ukrainian amateur Association football club based in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv Oblast that was expelled from the professional league after the 2010–11 season. FC Yednist' Plysky
FC Yednist Plysky was a Ukrainian professional football team from the village of Plysky in Nizhyn Raion of Chernihiv Oblast. The club continues to play in the Chernihiv Oblast football competition. Club history The club was founded in 2001 and is sponsored by a local farming company ''Ahroservis''. Yednist began participating in the Ukrainian Second League from 2005. The club took the move of entering the professional competition after several years of successfully competing in the Amateur competitions (''Fourth Level'' of competition in Ukraine) including winning the Ukrainian Amateur Cup in 2003. FC Veres Rivne
Narodnyy Klub Veres Rivne ( uk, РНК «Верес») is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Rivne. The club competes in the Ukrainian Premier League, the top tier of Ukrainian football, after winning the 2020–21 Ukrainian First League. Their home stadium until 2017 was Avanhard Stadium. As it is under reconstruction, they currently play home matches at Avanhard Stadium in Lutsk. FC Karpaty 2 Lviv
FC Karpaty-2 Lviv ( uk, ФК Карпати-2 Львів) was one of the three teams of the FC Karpaty Lviv. It was considered their junior squad with most of the players under 20 years of age. In 2010-2012 the team participated in the championship of the Lviv Oblast. History Karpaty-2 were originally formed in the Ukrainian Second League back in 1997. However in 2001 FC Lviv that competed in the Ukrainian First League was merged with Karpaty and FC Lviv was replaced with Karpaty-2, while the original team in the Second League was renamed to Karpaty-3. At the end of 2003–04 season Karpaty Lviv were relegated which automatically caused its other two teams to move down the championship leagues.
