2009–10 MOL Liga Season
The 2009–10 MOL Liga season was the second season played, of this international ice hockey. Teams from Hungary and Romania participated. The total number of teams had gone down from the first season. Alba Volan's farm team left, and three Romanian teams left, while one Romanian team joined. MOL Liga
The Erste Liga (formerly the MOL Liga) is an international ice hockey league organized for clubs based in Hungary and Romania. It is sponsored by the Erste Group, Erste Bank Hungary. The games played between the Hungarian teams count towards the Hungarian National Championship in the OB I Bajnokság. The Romanian teams also compete in the Romanian National Championship Romanian Hockey League, Liga NaÅ£ională. History In the 2008–09 MOL Liga season, first season, the league comprised six Hungarian teams and four Romanian teams. HC CsÃkszereda went undefeated in the post-season to win the first MOL Liga title. In 2009–10 MOL Liga season, 2009–10, the number of teams went down to five Hungarian and two Romanian teams. Ferencvárosi Torna Club Jégkorong Szakosztály is a Hungarian ice hockey team that currently plays in the OB I bajnokság and in the Erste Liga.
