2009–10 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Men's Basketball Team
The 2009–10 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men's basketball team represented Georgia Institute of Technology in the 2009–10 college basketball season. This was Paul Hewitt's tenth season as head coach. The Yellow Jackets compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference and played their home games at Alexander Memorial Coliseum. They finished the season 23–13, 7–9 in ACC play. They advanced to the championship game of the 2010 ACC men's basketball tournament as the 7 seed before losing to regular season champion Duke. They received an at–large bid to the 2010 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, earning a 10 seed in the Midwest Region. They upset 7 seed Oklahoma State in the first round before falling to 2 seed and AP #5 Ohio State in the second round. Paul Harrington Hewitt (born May 4, 1963) is an American college basketball coach and the former head coach at Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) and George Mason University. Daniel Clayton Miller (born July 1, 1991) was an American professional basketball player. Standing 6'11" (2.11 m), Miller played the center position. He played college basketball for Georgia Tech. College career A 6'11" center from Loganville Christian Academy in Loganville, Georgia, Miller came to Georgia Tech in 2010 after originally committing to the University of Georgia. Known for his defensive prowess, Miller earned Atlantic Coast Conference All-Defensive Team honors as a junior and senior, and led the conference in blocked shots both seasons. Norcross High School
Norcross High School is a public high school in Norcross, Georgia, United States, part of the Gwinnett County School System, and serving the cities of Norcross and Peachtree Corners.
