2009–10 Florida State Seminoles Men's Basketball Team
The 2009–10 Florida State Seminoles men's basketball team represented Florida State University in the 2009–2010 NCAA Division I basketball season. The Seminoles were coached by Leonard Hamilton and played their home games at the Donald L. Tucker Center in Tallahassee, Florida. The Seminoles were a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Seminoles finished the season 22–10, 10–6 in ACC play. They lost in the quarterfinals of the 2010 ACC men's basketball tournament. Leonard Hamilton
James Leonard Hamilton (born August 4, 1948) is an American basketball coach and the current men's basketball head coach at Florida State University. He is a former head coach at Oklahoma State University, the University of Miami, and for the National Basketball Association's Washington Wizards. In his 33 years as a collegiate head coach, his teams have qualified for 12 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournaments and 11 National Invitation Tournaments, highlighted by appearances in the NCAA Tournament's Elite Eight (2018) and Sweet 16 (2011, 2019, 2021) with Florida State, as well as a Sweet 16 appearance with Miami (2000). Derwin Maurice Kitchen (born May 14, 1986) is an American professional basketball player. He played college basketball for Iowa Western Community College and Florida State University before playing professionally in Israel, Greece, Serbia, France and Turkey. Michael Snaer (born June 21, 1990) is an American former professional basketball player who last played for Karpoš Sokoli in Macedonia. As a college player, he led Florida State University to their first ACC tournament championship in 2012, earning Most Valuable Player honors. Clearwater High School
Clearwater High School (CHS) is a four-year public high school located in Clearwater, Florida, United States. It is part of the Pinellas County School System.
