2009–10 Danish Superliga
The 2009–10 Danish Superliga season was the 20th season of the Danish Superliga league championship, which determinates the winners of the Danish football championship. It is governed by the Danish Football Association. The tournament started on 18 July 2009 and concluded on 16 May 2010. The Danish champions qualify for 2010–11 UEFA Champions League qualification. Runners-up and 3rd placed team qualify for 2010–11 UEFA Europa League qualification. The 11th and 12th placed teams will be relegated to the 1st Division. The 1st Division champions and runners-up will be promoted to the Superliga. On 5 May 2010, FC Copenhagen (''FC København'') won the title for the eighth time in 17 years after defeating HB Køge 4–0. Danish Superliga
The Danish Superliga ( da, Superligaen, ) is the current Danish football championship tournament, and administered by the Danish Football Association. It is the highest football league in Denmark and is currently contested by 12 teams each year, with two teams relegated. History Founded in 1991, the Danish Superliga replaced the Danish 1st Division as the highest league of football in Denmark. From the start in 1991, 10 teams were participating. The opening Superliga season was played during the spring of 1991, with the ten teams playing each other twice for the championship title. From the summer of 1991, the tournament structure would stretch over two calendar years. The 10 teams would play each other twice in the first half of the tournament. In the following spring, the bottom two teams would be cut off, the points of the teams would be cut in half, and the remaining eight teams would once more play each other twice, for a total of 32 games in a season. Danish Football Association
The Danish Football Union ( da, Dansk Boldspil-Union; DBU) is the governing body of football in Denmark. It is the organization of the Danish football clubs and runs the professional Danish football leagues and the men's and women's national teams. It is based in the city of Brøndby and is a founding member of both FIFA and UEFA. The DBU has also been the governing body of futsal in Denmark since 2008. 1982 Danish 1st Division
The 1982 Danish 1st Division season was the 37th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. It constituted the 69th edition of the Danish football championship, and saw Odense Boldklub win their second championship title. The Danish champions qualified for the European Cup 1983-84 qualification, while the second and third placed teams qualified for the UEFA Cup 1983-84. The three lowest placed teams of the tournament were directly relegated to the Danish 2nd Division for the following season. The 2007–08 Danish Superliga season was the 18th season of the Danish Superliga league championship, which determined the winners of the Danish football championship. It was governed by the Danish Football Association. It started with the first match on July 18, 2007 and ended with the final match on May 24, 2008. FC Midtjylland
FC Midtjylland (, "Central Jutland") is a Danish professional football club based in Herning and Ikast in the western part of Jutland. The club is the result of a merger between Ikast FS and Herning Fremad. Midtjylland competes in the Danish Superliga, which they have won three times, most recently in 2020. Club history FC Midtjylland was founded by Johnny Rune, a carpenter and owner of a private business in the wood-supply industry, and Steen Hessel, an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer.
