TFF Süper Kupa 2009 (''English'': TFF Super Cup) was the 37th edition the Turkish Super Cup since its establishment. This was the first time, Turkish Super Cup was held in Istanbul. Turkish Super Cup
The Turkish Super Cup ( Turkish: ''TFF Süper Kupa''), as it is currently known, is the annual super cup football match contested between the previous season's Süper Lig champions and the Turkish Cup winners in Turkey. It was originally known as the ''Cumhurbaşkanlığı Kupası'' (Presidential Cup) from 1966 to 1998. No competition was held between 1999 and 2005, although there was a substitute competition played under the name of Atatürk Cup in 2000. The rebranded ''TFF Süper Kupa'' is a curtain raiser for the upcoming footballing season, usually taking place in August. In case of a team achieving the double, the Turkish Cup runners-up become finalists. The current holders are 2021–22 Süper Lig winners Trabzonspor, who won against 2021–22 Turkish Cup winners Sivasspor in the 2022 edition. İbrahim Üzülmez
İbrahim Üzülmez (born 10 March 1974), known by his given nicknames "Deli İbrahim" or "Deli İbo" (), is a Turkish former professional international footballer and current coach and pundit. Üzülmez last entrained MKE Ankaragücü. Playing career Üzülmez was born to a family of farmers in İzmit, Turkey. He would often sneak out of doing his farmer duties to go play football with friends. Rodrigo Álvaro Tello Valenzuela (born 14 October 1979) is a Chilean former professional footballer. He operated mainly as a left midfielder, but could also appear in the middle and as an attacking left back. İsmail Köybaşı (born 10 July 1989) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a left back for Turkish Süper Lig club Trabzonspor. Rüştü Reçber (; born 10 May 1973) is a Turkish former professional footballer and a current sports executive. During his professional career, he played as a goalkeeper for Antalyaspor, Fenerbahçe, Barcelona and Beşiktaş.
