2009 Soul Train Music Awards
The 2009 Soul Train Music Awards were held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia on November 29, 2009. The show was hosted by Oscar nominated actor Terrence Howard and Oscar nominated actress Taraji P. Henson. Performers included Keri Hilson, Toni Braxton, Trey Songz, Mario, Raheem DeVaughn, Ludacris, Ryan Leslie, and Robin Thicke. Singers Chaka Khan and Charlie Wilson received the honoree Soul Train Legend Award. Michael Jackson was honoree for posthumous award for Entertainer of the Year. Terrence Howard
Terrence Dashon Howard (born March 11, 1969) is an American actor. Having his first major roles in the 1995 films ''Dead Presidents'' and '' Mr. Holland's Opus'', Howard broke into the mainstream with a succession of television and cinema roles between 2004 and 2006. ''BLACKsummers'night'' is the fourth studio album by American recording artist Maxwell, released July 7, 2009 on Columbia Records. It is the follow-up to his third album ''Now'' (2001). Recording sessions for the album took place during 2003 to 2009 and production was handled entirely by Maxwell and Hod David. The album debuted at number one on the US ''Billboard'' 200 chart, selling 316,000 copies in its first week. It became Maxwell's fourth consecutive US Platinum album and produced four singles that achieved ''Billboard'' chart success. LeToya Nicole Luckett (born March 11, 1981) is an American R&B singer and actress.
