Ben Daley
Ben Daley (born 27 June 1988) is a former Australia national rugby union team, national representative ’Wallabies’ rugby union footballer who played professionally for the Melbourne Rebels. Daley also previously played for the Queensland Reds and Western Force. His playing position was Prop (rugby union), prop. Daley now works as Head of Legal, Compliance and Venue Operations at the St Kilda Football Club. Rugby career In 2008 Daley joined the Queensland Reds as a rookie and in the same year played for the Australia U20 side. He was selected for the 2009 Queensland Reds season, 2009 squad and was selected as run on LH prop in 12 of the 13 matches played by the Queensland Reds 2010 Super 14 team, making his debut for Australia later that year against England, becoming Wallaby No. 842. Ben Lucas (rugby Union)
Benjamin Lucas (born 30 December 1987) is an Australian rugby union player who used to play for Montpellier as a fly-half in the Top 14. Career Educated at Robertson State School, then St. Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace Lucas is a former Australian schoolboy representative. Lucas caught the eye of then Australian coach John Connolly when he claimed a personal tally of 35 points in the Brisbane club competition final where his club Sunnybank beat the Gold Coast by 85–19, Lucas creating nearly every play from Fly Half. Lucas missed out on 2007 Rugby World Cup selection after inside back Berrick Barnes secured the last spot, but was invited to train with the Queensland Reds in preparation for the 2008 Super 14 season. Super Rugby
Super Rugby is a men's professional rugby union club competition involving teams from Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. It previously included teams from Argentina, Japan, and South Africa. Building on various Southern Hemisphere competitions dating back to the South Pacific Championship in 1986, with teams from a number of southern nations, the Super Rugby started as the Super 12 in the 1996 season with 12 teams from 3 countries: Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. The Super 12 was established by SANZAR after the sport became professional in 1995. At its peak the tournament featured the top players from nations representing 16 of the 24 top-three finishes in the history of the Rugby World Cup. Brumbies (rugby)
The ACT Brumbies (known from 2005–2022 as simply the Brumbies) is an Australian professional rugby union team based in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory (ACT), The team competes in Super Rugby and named for the feral horses which inhabit the capital's hinterland. The team represents the ACT, as well as the Far South Coast and Southern Inland regions of New South Wales (NSW). Mark McLinden
Mark McLinden (born 8 July 1979) is an Australian former professional rugby footballer of the 1990s and 2000s. He played rugby league in the NRL for Australian club, the Canberra Raiders and in the Super League for English club the London Broncos/Harlequins RL, which he also captained. A Country New South Wales representative backline player, McLinden finished his career in 2009 with a few rugby union games for the Queensland Reds in Super Rugby. Rodney Davies (born 18 May 1989) is an Australian international rugby union footballer who plays for the Western Force. He previously played six seasons for the Queensland Reds in the Super Rugby competition. Davies has represented Australia in both fifteen-a-side and seven-a-side rugby. Digby Ioane (born 14 July 1985) is an Australian professional rugby union footballer who played for the Colorado Raptors in Major League Rugby (MLR). Ioane previously played for Panasonic Wild Knights in the Top League in Japan. He also played for Stade Français, the Western Force, the Queensland Reds and the Crusaders. Peter Hynes (born 18 July 1982) is a retired Australian professional rugby union footballer. He played on the wing or at fullback for the Queensland Reds and Australia. Morgan Turinui (born 5 January 1982 in Sydney) is an Australian rugby union footballer who currently is a rugby commentator for Stan Sport and Channel Nine in Australia. Early life Turinui was educated at the Sydney school of Waverley College. In 2000, Turinui captained the Australia Schoolboys, having been the vice-captain of the side in the previous year. Charlie Fetoai (born 11 January 1987) is a rugby union player for the Queensland Reds in the Super Rugby competition. Charlie Fetoai's position of choice is as a centre. Background Fetoai was born in Auckland, New Zealand. Career Fetoai won a gold medal with Australia's rugby sevens team at the Commonwealth Youth Games in December 2004. He was contracted to the Brisbane Broncos in the NRL. He then moved from rugby league to rugby union, playing with the Queensland Reds in the Super Rugby competition. Fetoai debuted with Queensland Reds as a substitute against the Hurricanes on 3 February 2007. His first start for the Reds came on 15 March 2008 against the Bulls at Suncorp Stadium. Anthony Fainga'a (born 2 February 1987) is an Australian former professional rugby union footballer. His usual position is centre. Family and early life Anthony Fainga'a was born in Queanbeyan, New South Wales, and started playing rugby league as a five-year-old with the Queanbeyan Kangaroos.
