Nikolay Vladimirovich Davydenko ( rus, Никола́й Влади́мирович Давыде́нко ; born 2 June 1981) is a Ukrainian-born Russian former professional tennis player. The Malaysian Open (formerly known as the ''Malaysian Tennis Classic'') is a professional women's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. The event is affiliated with the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), and is an International-level tournament on the WTA Tour. The event has been held at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort and The Royal Selangor Golf Club. The first edition of the event took place from February 22–28, 2010.
