The 2009 WNBA season is the 11th season for the Minnesota Lynx of the Women's National Basketball Association. Offseason Dispersal Draft Based on the Lynx's 2008 record, they would pick 4th in the Houston Comets dispersal draft. The Lynx picked Roneeka Hodges. Jennifer Gillom
Jennifer "Grandmama" Gillom (born June 13, 1964) is an American former Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) basketball player who played for the Phoenix Mercury from 1997 to 2002, before finishing her playing career with the Los Angeles Sparks in 2003. Gillom is also a former Sparks head coach, also coached the Minnesota Lynx, and was, until 2015, an assistant coach of the Connecticut Sun. Born in Abbeville, Mississippi, Gillom played college basketball at the University of Mississippi and helped the United States Basketball Team to a gold medal in women's basketball in the 1988 Summer Olympics. Gillom signed with the Mercury in 1996 where she was All-WNBA in 1998 and won the Kim Perrot Sportsmanship Award in her final season. Emily Fox (basketball)
Emily Fox (born April 23, 1987) is a former world record holder at sport stacking. She set the overall world record in the cycle (7.43 seconds) in April 2002 and the 3–6–3 (2.72 seconds). However, in 2006, her cycle record was beaten (by Robin Stangenberg from Germany with a time of 7.41 seconds). Her 3–6–3 record was also broken in 2007 by Robin Stangenberg and Yannick Zittlau of Germany with a time of 2.70 seconds. She has appeared on several television shows, including ''The Ellen DeGeneres Show'' and ''The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'', to demonstrate her skills. Emily is the eldest child of Bob Fox, the founder of Speed Stacks, and grew up in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Her two brothers, Kit and Brennan, are also successful at sport stacking. Noelle Quinn (born January 3, 1985) is a basketball coach and former player who is currently the head coach for the Seattle Storm of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). As a player, Quinn played for many WNBA teams and for Botaş SK of the Turkish Women's Basketball League. Lindsey Harding
Lindsey Marcie Harding (born June 12, 1984) is an American professional basketball coach and former player. She serves as player development coach of the Sacramento Kings. Throughout her playing career, Harding played for the Minnesota Lynx, Washington Mystics, Atlanta Dream, Los Angeles Sparks, New York Liberty and Phoenix Mercury of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and has played overseas in Turkey and Russia. Nicole Katherine Ohlde (born March 13, 1982) is a former American professional basketball player. She most recently played for the Phoenix Mercury and the Tulsa Shock of the Women's National Basketball Association. Kelly Miller (born September 6, 1978) is an American former professional basketball player. She is the identical twin sister of fellow basketball player Coco Miller. Kristen Rasmussen (born November 1, 1978) is an American former professional basketball player in the WNBA, also playing for CSS LMK BC Sepsi of Sfântu Gheorghe, Romania. Born in Lansing, Michigan, Rasmussen attended college at Michigan State University and graduated in 2000. While playing for the Spartans, Rasmussen set the school record for blocked shots with 194.
