2009 Liga Super
The 2009 Liga Super ( en, 2009 Super League) also known as the TM Liga Super for sponsorship reasons is the sixth season of the Liga Super, the top-tier professional football league in Malaysia.http://www.rsssf.com/tablesm/malay09.html 2009 Liga Super The season was held from 3 January and concluded on 3 August 2009. The Liga Super champions for 2009 was Selangor. Teams A total of 14 teams compete in the 2009 season which includes the top 12 teams that participated in the 2007–08 season and champions and runners-up of the 2007-08 Liga Premier. Sarawak were relegated at the end of the 2009 Liga Super season after finishing in the bottom place of the league table. Liga Super
The Malaysia Super League ( ms, Liga Super Malaysia) is the men's top professional football division of the Malaysian football league system. Administered by the Football Malaysia Limited Liability Partnership (FMLLP), now known as the Malaysian Football League (MFL), the Malaysia Super League is contested by twelve teams that operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Malaysia Premier League, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated and replaced by the promoted top two teams in that division. The league replaced the former top-tier league, Liga Perdana 1 in the Malaysian football league system, which ran from 1998 to 2003. 33 clubs have competed in the division since the inception of the Malaysia Super League in 2004, with eight teams winning the title (Selangor, Kedah Darul Aman, Kelantan, Sri Pahang, Perlis, Negeri Sembilan, LionsXII and Johor Darul Ta'zim). Mohd Ashaari Shamsuddin
Mohamad Ashari bin Samsudin (born 7 June 1985) is a retired Malaysian footballer who mainly plays as a right winger but can also play as a forward and an attacking midfielder. Ashari has a great dribbling skill with a good vision and pace in the game making him one of the fan's favourite in the team. Club career Terengganu Originally from Bukit Payong, Marang, Terengganu, Ashari started his career with Terengganu youth team. He was promoted to Terengganu's senior team during the 2007-08 Super League Malaysia. He showed impressive playing style as he netted 9 goals in his debut season. He is consistently scoring for Terengganu. He was second top scorer in the 2009 season with 17 goals, one goal behind the winner Mohd Nizaruddin Yusof. The Malaysia Premier League ( ms, Liga Premier) was the second-tier professional football league in Malaysia. The league replaced the former second-tier league, Liga Perdana 2 in the Malaysian football league system. The Malaysia Premier League was contested by 12 clubs where the season usually ran from early February to late October, with a Ramadan break for a month depending on the Islamic calendar. Teams played 22 matches (playing each team in the league home and away), totalling 132 matches in the season. Most games were played on Fridays, with a few games played during weekdays. Perlis FA State Football Team ( ms, Pasukan Bola Sepak Negeri Perlis), also known as Perlis FA, is a football team based in Kangar, Perlis, Malaysia which is run and managed by the Perlis Football Association (PFA).
