2009 Jarama Superleague Formula Round
The 2009 Jarama Superleague Formula round was the sixth round and last of the 2009 Superleague Formula season, with the races taking place on November 8, 2009. Report Qualifying For the final round of the year, 4 time Champ Car World Series champion and Formula One pointscorer Sébastien Bourdais clinched his first pole position in the Superleague Formula series. Race 1 At the start of the race FC Midtjylland (Kasper Andersen) and Rangers F.C. ( John Martin) both ran off into the gravel trap at turn 1. This left FC Midtjylland stuck and Rangers F.C.s race severely compromised. Olympiacos CFP (Esteban Guerrieri) lost it on the exit of the corner, spinning out and nearly hitting the barrier, they rejoined the race within seconds. Atlético Madrid (María de Villota) spun out of the race on lap 2. Galatasaray S.K. Carlo van Dam (born 27 February 1986 in Vlaardingen) is a Dutch racing driver. He is currently a factory driver for Subaru and he is the reserve and tear driver for R&D Sport in the Super GT Series while driving for Subaru Tecnica International in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring and the Nürburgring Endurance Series. FC Basel 1893 Superleague Formula team was a motor racing team representing Switzerland's FC Basel in the Superleague Formula championship. Julien Jousse (born 21 January 1986 in Les Issambres) is a professional racing driver from France. Career Formula Ford After spending time in karting between 1997 and 2001, Jousse began has circuit racing career in 2002 in the Formula Ford Kent series. In the three races he contested he took three podium finishes, including one race win. In 2003 he moved to the French Formula Ford series, taking a single podium place to finish the year in 9th place. María De Villota
María de Villota Comba (13 January 1979 – 11 October 2013) was a Spanish racing driver. She was the daughter of former Formula One driver Emilio de Villota, and sister of Emilio de Villota Jr., who similarly competed in Formula Palmer Audi. Prior to her death, De Villota was recovering from serious head and facial injuries, sustained during an accident in straight-line testing as the Marussia Formula One team test driver. Early career De Villota was born in Madrid. She competed in numerous racing series, including the World Touring Car Championship and ADAC Procar Series. In August 2009, she signed with Atlético Madrid to race for the remainder of the season in the Superleague Formula open wheel racing series.
