Tarja Halonen
Tarja Kaarina Halonen (; born 24 December 1943) is a Finnish politician who served as the 11th president of Finland, and the first woman to hold the position, from 2000 to 2012. She first rose to prominence as a lawyer with the Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions (SAK), and as the Prime Minister's parliamentary secretary (1974–1975) and a member of the City Council of Helsinki (1977–1996). Halonen was a Social Democratic Party member of parliament from 1979 until her election to the presidency in 2000. She also served as a minister at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health from 1987 to 1990, as Minister of Justice from 1990 to 1991, and as Minister for Foreign Affairs from 1995 to 2000. Netherlands Women's National Ice Hockey Team
The Netherlands women's national ice hockey team represents the Netherlands in international ice hockey competition, including the International Ice Hockey Federation's (IIHF) Women's World Championship. The women's national team is overseen by Netherlands Ice Hockey Association. In February 2011, the Netherlands were promoted to Division II of the IIHF World Women's Championship. The Netherlands had 362 female ice hockey players registered with the IIHF in 2022, over double the 175 players on record in 2011. Tatiana Burina
Tatiana Ivanovna Burina (russian: Татьяна Ивановна Бурина; born 20 March 1980) is a Russian retired ice hockey forward. In December 2017, she was one of eleven Russian athletes who were banned for life from the Olympics by the International Olympic Committee, after doping offences at the 2014 Winter Olympics. International career Burina was selected for the Russia national women's ice hockey team in the 2002, 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics. In 2002, she recorded four goals in five games to lead the team in scoring. In 2006, she had one goal in five games, and in 2010 she had three points in five games. She also played in the qualifying tournament for the 2006 Olympics. Burina has also appeared for Russia at eleven IIHF Women's World Championships. Her first appearance came in 1999. ''The Arena'' is a debate-style television show produced by Mediacorp Channel 5 in Singapore. Season 1 of the show was broadcast from January–March 2007. A second season, known as ''The Arena II'', was aired from March–May 2008. The show involves teams of students from secondary schools in Singapore debating against each other on issues of topical interest. Season 1 of the show was won by the team from the United World College of South East Asia, who defeated Hwa Chong Institution in the final. Lisa Chesson (born August 18, 1986) is an American ice hockey defender, currently playing for the Buffalo Beauts of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). Playing career Early career Chesson attended Plainfield Central High School in Plainfield, Illinois. She went on to play ice hockey for four years at Ohio State University, scoring 89 points in 145 games. Professional Chesson played professionally for the NWHL's Buffalo Beauts for three seasons, between 2016 and 2019, winning the Isobel Cup in 2017. She participated in the 3rd NWHL All-Star Game and the 2019 NWHL All-Star Game. In May 2019, she joined the newly formed PWHPA, and would spend the entire season with the organisation. Molly Marie Engstrom (born March 1, 1983) is an American retired ice hockey player and the cuurent head coach of the Maine Black Bears women's ice hockey program in the Hockey East (HEA) conference of the NCAA Division I. During her playing career, she played with Djurgårdens IF in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL), the Connecticut Whale in the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL; rebranded as PHF in 2021), the Brampton Thunder in the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL), and the Minnesota Whitecaps in the Western Women's Hockey League (WWHL). Kacey Lee Bellamy (born April 22, 1987) is an American ice hockey defender for the Calgary section of the PWHPA, an Olympic Silver medalist, and seven-time IIHF World Women's Championship winner. She currently plays for the Boston Pride in the National Women's Hockey League and the United States women's national ice hockey team. She won the Isobel Cup with the Pride and is a two-time Clarkson Cup champion with the Boston Blades of the Canadian Women's Hockey League. Jocelyne Lamoureux
Jocelyne Nicole Lamoureux-Davidson (born July 3, 1989) is a former American ice hockey player, author, gender equity advocate, and co-founder of the Lamoureux Foundation. She scored the game-winning shootout goal to win the gold medal for Team USA at the 2018 Winter Olympics against Canada after her twin sister Monique tied the game near the end of regulation. Lamoureux-Davidson also won silver medals for the United States women's national ice hockey team at the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics. Lamoureux played one season of NCAA hockey for the University of Minnesota and three for the University of North Dakota. Natalie Rose Darwitz (born October 13, 1983) is an American ice hockey player. Natalie was the Captain of the US Women's National Team for several seasons beginning with the 2007–08 season. She won three World Championships between 2005 and 2009, and two Olympic silver medals and one bronze medal in Women's ice hockey for the US. Kelli Allison Stack (born January 13, 1988) is an American former ice hockey forward, who played for Kunlun Red Star in the Canadian Women's Hockey League. She is a member of the United States women's national ice hockey team. Stack competed for the Boston College Eagles women's ice hockey program and after completing her Olympic commitment, returned to Boston College for her senior year of 2010–11.
