2009 Goody's Fast Pain Relief 500
The 2009 Goody's Fast Pain Relief 500 was held on March 29, 2009 at Martinsville Speedway in Martinsville, Virginia. It was the sixth race of the 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season. The winner was Jimmie Johnson, who led 42 laps, followed by Denny Hamlin and Tony Stewart in second and third place. There were no time trials because of rain during the previous days. A live audience of 63,000 attended the event, which lasted three hours and 27 minutes. Last-place finisher Todd Bodine quit on lap 3 due to engine problems. 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
The 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series was the 61st season of professional stock car racing in the United States, the 38th modern-era Cup series, and the last Cup season of the 21st century's first decade, the 2000s. The season included 36 races and two exhibition races with the regular season beginning with the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway and ending with the Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The 2009 Samsung 500 was the seventh stock car race of the 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. It was held on April 5, 2009, at Texas Motor Speedway, in Fort Worth, Texas before a crowd of 176,300 people. The 334-lap race was won by Jeff Gordon of the Hendrick Motorsports team after starting from second position. His teammate Jimmie Johnson finished second and Roush Fenway Racing's Greg Biffle placed third. Gordon was the Drivers' Championship leader with 959 points entering the event. Dennis Setzer
Dennis Setzer (born February 27, 1960) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He has driven in all three of NASCAR's top series, scoring eighteen wins in the Camping World Truck Series. Beginnings Setzer made his NASCAR debut in the Busch Series in 1991 in the All Pro 300. He started 5th in his own #4 Ford Thunderbird, but crashed on lap nine and finished 40th. David Louis Blaney (born October 24, 1962) is a semi-retired American professional stock car racing driver.
