2009 BWF World Junior Championships
The 2009 BWF World Junior Championship is the eleventh edition of the BWF World Junior Championships, a junior badminton world championship which was held in Alor Setar, Malaysia Malaysia ( ; ) is a country in Southeast Asia. Alor Setar ( Jawi: الور ستار, Kedahan: ''Loqstaq'') is the state capital of Kedah, Malaysia. Luo Yu
Luo Yu (; born 11 January 1991) is a Chinese badminton player who specializes in doubles. Together with her twin sister, Luo Ying, they competed in the international badminton, and were ranked as World number 1 on 10 March 2016. The twins participated at the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics but did not advance to the knocked-out stage after placing third in the group stage. Muhammad ( ar, مُحَمَّد;  570 – 8 June 632 CE) was an Arab religious, social, and political leader and the founder of Islam. Misbun Ramdan Misbun
Misbun Ramdan bin Mohmed Misbun (born 1 March 1991) is a Malaysian professional badminton player. He is the son of former Malaysian international badminton player Misbun Sidek. Career Misbun Ramdan won his first local title by upsetting Mohd Arif Abdul Latif, 21–18, 21–18 in the men’s singles final of the 2012 Pahang Open. In the same year, he won his first national title by defeating Chong Wei Feng to become the new national champion. In January 2013, Ramdan left Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) to train under his father, Misbun Sidek. In April 2014, Ramdan was invited by BAM for the selection trials of Thomas Cup. At the selection trial, he lost 21–19, 21–15 to Goh Soon Huat. In 2015, Ramdan suffered an Achilles heel rupture that kept him from competing for almost 2 years. Chooi Kah Ming
Andrew Chooi Kah Ming (; born 25 February 1991) is a Malaysian retired badminton player. He won the boys' doubles title at the 2009 World Junior Championships partnered with Ow Yao Han. Chooi played with several partners but it was with Ow that he secured his career best by finishing runners-up at the 2012 Malaysia Open Grand Prix Gold. Their highest ranking was number 25 in May 2013. Chooi retired from badminton in 2019, and started a new career as an entrepreneur. The Malaysia national badminton team is a badminton team that plays for Malaysia in international competitions. The men's team has enjoyed immense success, having won the Thomas Cup five times, most recently in 1992 and became runner-up nine times. In the Uber Cup competition, the women's team with the best results in 1975, 2004, 2008 and 2010 edition making it to the quarter-finals. Yao Xue
Yao Xue (, born 17 January 1991) is a Chinese badminton player. Career Yao started playing badminton at the age of six. She trained in Shenzhen for two years. Yao with her excellent performance selected to Guangdong training team. A year later, she became a full member of the Guangdong team, also selected several national junior team. Her biggest achievement in the BWF Superseries event that is becoming the runner-up in the 2013 Malaysia Super Series in the women's singles event. In September 2013, she became the runner-up at the Indonesian Masters Grand Prix Gold tournament. In the final round, she defeated by her compatriot Suo Di with a tighter finish. Suo dominated the first game but she didn't give up so easily. She tried to steal the second game but came up just short in the end and was unable to take her first international title.
