Marouane Chamakh (; ar, مروان الشماخ; born 10 January 1984) is a former professional footballer who played as a forward. He is described as a prototypical target man and is noted for his "link-up play", "tall stature" and "excellent heading ability". Chamakh is also Bordeaux's eleventh highest goalscorer of all-time. Diego Rodolfo Placente (born 24 April 1977) is a former Argentine footballer who played as a left-back. Club career Born in Buenos Aires, Placente started playing professionally in 1996 with Argentinos Juniors, before moving to Argentine giant River Plate in 1997. David Bellion (born 27 November 1982) is a French former professional footballer who played as a striker. His previous clubs include Cannes, Sunderland, Manchester United, West Ham United, Nice, Bordeaux and Red Star. Franck Jurietti (born 30 March 1975) is a French former professional footballer who played as a full-back. He spent most of his career with Bordeaux. Club career Jurietti's professional career started at Lyon, having already been part of their youth team. However, he did not get to play a single game and was transferred to Gueugnon at the end of the season. Fernando Menegazzo (born 3 May 1981), simply known as Fernando, is a former Brazilian professional footballer who played as a central midfielder. Career Fernando was born in Anita Garibaldi. 2008–09 Coupe De La Ligue
The 2008–09 Coupe de la Ligue began on 19 August 2008, and its final was held on 25 April 2009 at the Stade de France. The former defending champions, Paris Saint-Germain, were initially barred from participating in the cup after a group of PSG supporters unfurled an offensive banner during last year's final. After PSG appealed the ban, however, the Tribunal Administratif de Paris judge vacated the ruling allowing PSG to defend their Coupe de la Ligue title. Due to this, a new draw was announced. French Football Federation (FFF) president Jean-Pierre Escalettes vowed to get the second ruling overturned, stating, "I won't give up," and, "I can't allow acts like this to go unpunished," but was unsuccessful.
