The EuroCup Women is an international basketball club competition for women's clubs throughout Europe. The 2008-2009 season involved 58 competing teams from 28 different countries. EuroCup Women
The EuroCup Women (officially ''FIBA EuroCup Women'') is the second-level basketball competition with teams from associate members of FIBA Europe. It succeeds the Ronchetti Cup. System of competition As for the EuroLeague Women, the EuroCup had a Final Four to appoint the winner from 2003 (year of creation) to 2005. Galatasaray is the women's basketball section of Galatasaray S.K., a major sports club in Istanbul, Turkey.
