2008–09 AaB Fodbold Season
During the 2008–09 Danish football season, AaB Fodbold competed in the Danish Superliga. Season summary Bruce Rioch managed to guide AaB to the Champions League group stage, but was sacked after only two wins from the first 10 league games and a single point won from their first three Champions League games, with the team 11th in the Superliga. Interim manager Allan Kuhn went undefeated in his seven league games and three Champions League games, seeing the club rise to 6th and qualify for the UEFA Cup knockout stages. However, sporting director Lynge Jakobsen was wary of promoting Kuhn from assistant coach to head coach and instead opted to appoint Magnus Pehrsson as permanent head coach. AaB Fodbold
AaB, (full name: ''Aalborg Boldspilklub'', ) internationally referred to as Aalborg BK, or sometimes also known as AaB Aalborg, is a professional football team located in Aalborg. The club is represented in the Danish Superliga and has won four Danish football Championships and three Danish Cup trophies. Most recently the team won the double in 2014. AaB was founded on 13 May 1885 by English engineers who were building Jutland's railway system, and the first years was concentrated on the game of cricket. It was initially named Aalborg Cricketklub (Aalborg Cricket club) but the name of the club was changed to Aalborg Boldklub (Aalborg ballclub) in 1899. Football was adopted on an amateur basis in 1902, and has since been the main sport, as the name was changed to the current Aalborg Boldspilklub af 1885 (Aalborg ballgameclub of 1885) in 1906. Cacá (footballer, Born 1982)
Lucas de Deus Santos (born 9 October 1982), known as Cacá, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for Esporte Clube Santo André as a midfielder. Club career Born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Cacá started his career with hometown's Clube Atlético Mineiro. During his spell with the ''Galo'', he was also loaned twice: in the 2003–04 season he played with MSV Duisburg in the German second division, being sparingly used as the club finished in seventh position. Kjetil Wæhler (born 16 March 1976 in Oslo) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a centre back. Wæhler is currently without a club. Michael Francis Beauchamp (born 8 March 1981) is an Australian former professional footballer who played as a central defender. He was a member of the Australian 2006 World Cup and 2010 FIFA World Cup squads. Michael Jakobsen (born 2 January 1986) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a defender for National Premier Leagues South Australia club Adelaide Olympic. He was named 2002 Danish ''Under-17 Player of the Year'', and has played five games for the Denmark national team. Club career B.93 and PSV Jakobsen started playing football with Boldklubben 1908 and Boldklubben af 1893 in the Danish 1st Division. Karim Zaza (, ar, كريم زازا; born 9 January 1975) is a Moroccan former professional footballer and current goalkeeper coach of Vendsyssel FF. Born in Denmark to a Moroccan father and Danish mother, he established himself as one of the top goalkeepers of Danish football with three consecutive Danish ''Goalkeeper of the Year'' awards from 2001 to 2003.
