The 2008 WAFF Championship was the fifth West Asian Football Federation Championship, an international tournament for West Asian countries and territories. It was hosted by Iran. Kianoush "Kia" Rahmati ( fa, كیانوش رحمتی, born September 18, 1978 in Iran) is an Iranian football manager, former professional footballer. Milad Meydavoudi ( fa, ميلاد میداوودی, born 20 January 1985 in Masjed Soleyman) is an Iranian football player, who last played for Naft Masjed Soleyman in Persian Gulf Pro League. He was appointed as assistant coach of Khooshe Talaei Saveh F.C. Club career Meydavoudi started his career at Esteghlal Ahvaz with whom he made his professional debut in 2004. Hassouneh Al-Sheikh
Hassouneh Yousef Qasem Al-Sheikh ( ar, حسونة يوسف قاسم الشيخ; born 26 January 1977) is a retired Jordanian footballer of Palestinian origin. Retirement Hassouneh retired internationally after playing the match between his country Jordan and Kuwait in the 2010 WAFF Championship, in which he entered as a substitute for his teammate Ahmad Abdel-Halim. That match resulted in a 2–2 draw. A friendly match was played between his country Jordan and Uzbekistan at the Amman International Stadium on 13 August 2012 to mark his international retirement. Hassouneh gave the captain arm band to the goalkeeper Amer Shafi and his #8 jersey shirt to his younger teammate from Al-Faisaly Khalil Bani Attiah after playing the first few minutes of the match.
