2008 Telkom Knockout
The Telkom Knockout is a football (soccer) knockout competition which comprises the 16 teams in the South African Premier Soccer League. In all matches there has to be a winner on the day, this will be decided if there is a winner after full-time (90 minutes). If teams are tied at full-time then extra time will be played, penalties will decide the winner if the scores are still even (there is no golden goal rule). Kaizer Chiefs Football Club (often known as Chiefs) are a South African professional football club based in Naturena, Johannesburg South, that plays in the Premier Soccer League. Arthur Zwane
Arthur Jabulani Zwane (born 20 September 1973) is a South African football coach and former player, most notably for Kaizer Chiefs. He is currently a head coach for Kaizer Chiefs. Early career Zwane grew up playing for his uncle's team, Liverpool and later played for Jomo Cosmos's under 10 side. He was promoted in 1992 and was sent on loan to Real Rovers. Club career Jomo Cosmos Arthur Zwane made his professional debut in the BobSave Super Bowl quarter final against Giyani Classic in 1993 under Roy Matthews. Richard Henyekane
Richard Henyekane (28 September 1983 – 7 April 2015) was a South African professional footballer who also represented the national team. Early and personal life Henyekane hails from Kimberley's Galeshewe township; his younger brother Joseph who died in December 2014 was also a professional footballer. Career Henyekane made his professional debut for Premier United-Hellenic against Jomo Cosmos on 8 February 2004. He joined Golden Arrows in the 2004/05 season, with his first goal coming in Arrows' 1–1 draw against Manning Rangers on 19 January 2005. Henyekane, who played as a striker or attacking right wing position, had his career best season with Golden Arrows in the PSL. Lamontville Golden Arrows F.C. are a South African soccer club based in Durban that plays in the Premier Soccer League. History It was founded in 1943 in the streets of Lamontville, a township in Durban. The club played in the defunct National Professional Soccer League in the 1970s until they were relegated in 1976. They played in the Second Division thereafter until 1980 when they were embroiled in a soccer scandal and thrown out of the National Professional Soccer League.
