The 2008 Russian football season, saw CSKA Moscow competed in the Russian Premier League, finishing 2nd behind Rubin Kazan, and in Russian Cup. CSKA won the 2007/08 Russian Cup and progressed to the quarter-finals of the 2008-09 Cup by the end of the 2007 season. Trudovye Rezervy (russian: Трудовые резервы; English: Workforce/Labour Reserves) — one of the Voluntary Sports Societies of the USSR. It was to involve in physical culture and sports the students of the country's vocational schools, while higher education students were admitted to Burevestnik (" Storm-petrel") society. Fotbal Club Sheriff (russian: ФК Шериф Тирасполь), commonly known as Sheriff Tiraspol or simply Sheriff, is a Moldovan professional football club based in Tiraspol, a city located in the unrecognised breakaway state of Transnistria. FC Chernomorets Novorossiysk (russian: ФК "Черноморец" Новороссийск) is the oldest Russian association football club based in Novorossiysk. It plays in the third-tier FNL 2. Aleksei Vladimirovich Berezutski (; born 20 June 1982) is a Russian football coach and a former player who played as a centre-back. Club career He began his professional career in 1999 at the age of 17 at Torpedo Moscow, graduating from the club's famed academy. He is now playing for CSKA Moscow. FC Dynamo Moscow (''FC Dynamo Moskva'', russian: Дина́мо Москва́ ) is a Russian football club based in Moscow.
