The 2008 Russian football season, saw CSKA Moscow competed in the Russian Premier League, finishing 2nd behind Rubin Kazan, and in Russian Cup. CSKA won the 2007/08 Russian Cup and progressed to the quarter-finals of the 2008-09 Cup by the end of the 2007 season. Trudovye Rezervy (russian: Трудовые резервы; English: Workforce/Labour Reserves) — one of the Voluntary Sports Societies of the USSR. Aleksei Vladimirovich Berezutski (; born 20 June 1982) is a Russian football coach and a former player who played as a centre-back.
