2007–08 Ukrainian First League
The 2007–08 Ukrainian First League is the seventeenth since its establishment. There were 20 teams competing. Two teams were relegated from the Ukrainian Premier League 2006-07. Four teams were promoted from the Ukrainian Second League 2006-07. Ukrainian First League
The Persha Liha ( uk, Перша ліга) or Ukrainian First League is a professional football league in Ukraine and the second tier of national football competitions pyramid. Members of the league also participate in the Ukrainian Cup. It is the highest division of Professional Football League. History The league was set up by the newly reorganized Football Federation of Ukraine (a successor of the Football Federation of the Ukrainian SSR) with the falling apart Soviet Union as a second tier, lower than Ukrainian Higher League (Vyshcha Liha) and higher that Ukrainian Transitional League (Perekhidna Liha). The very first round of games that took place for this league was on 14 March 1992. FC Feniks-Illichovets Kalinine ( uk, Фенікс-Іллічовець (also ''Фенікс-Іллічiвець''); russian: link=no, Феникс-Ильичёвец) was a Ukrainian football club based in Kalinine which is located south-west of Dzhankoy (in the Crimea region). History The team was winner of the Crimea championship in 2005, its bronze medallist in 2004 and 2006 and silver medallist of the Ukrainian amateur championship in 2005. In 2006/07 season they played in the Ukrainian Second League (group B), became runners-up and were promoted to the First League. FC Enerhetyk Burshtyn was a professional Ukrainian football club based in Burshtyn, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. History The club was formed in 1948 and was previously called ''Kolhospnyk'' (Collective] farmer), ''Avanhard'' (Vanguard) and ''Henerator'' (Generator). The club played in the Ivano-Frankivs'k oblast league and in the 1990s and after steadily improving they won the Oblast Championship in 1998. They also entered the Ukrainian Football Amateur Association, Ukrainian Amateur Championships and were undefeated champions in that season. FC Krymteplytsia Molodizhne was a football club based in an urbanized settlement (town) Molodizhne (north of Simferopol and adjacent to the city limits). FC Helios Kharkiv is a Ukrainian association football, football club located in Kharkiv, Ukraine. From 2003 to 2018 the club competed at professional level. FC Dynamo-Ihroservice Simferopol
FC Ihroservice Simferopol was a Ukrainian football team based in Simferopol, Ukraine. Uniform colours are white shirts and blue shorts. History FC Ihroservis traces its heritage to FC Dynamo Simferopol (part of the Dynamo sports society) that was created in 1936 and participated in the Soviet football competitions until the late 1950s when it was dissolved. In 2000 the football expert Mikhail Sachko and the businessman Nikolai Pashkulsk decided to recreate Dynamo club in place of the already existing FC Pishchevyk (Kharchovyk) Simferopol. Football Club Desna Chernihiv ( uk, ФК «Десна» Чернігів) is a Ukrainian football club based in Chernihiv. The original name of the club was "Avanhard" (FC Avanhard Chernihiv) during its first year of existence as part of a republican Avanhard sports society. FC Dynamo-2 Kyiv was the second football team of the Ukrainian football club Dynamo Kyiv based in Kyiv, Ukraine. The team was created in 1946, and the club ceased its operations after the 2015–16 season. History In 1965, there was created the second team of FC Dynamo Kyiv and replaced FC Temp Kyiv (former FC Arsenal Kyiv). It only competed for one season in the Ukrainian Class B football competitions of the Soviet Union. In 1992, Dynamo-2 Kyiv was revived based on its double (reserve team) Dynamo-d Kyiv which played in competition for reserves teams of the Soviet Top League.
