2007–08 Michigan State Spartans Men's Basketball Team
The 2007–08 Michigan State Spartans men's basketball team represented Michigan State University in the 2007–08 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They played their home games at Breslin Center in East Lansing, Michigan and were coached by 13th-year head coach, Tom Izzo. MSU finished the season 27–9, 12–6 to finish in fourth place in Big Ten play. They defeated Ohio State in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten tournament before losing to No. 1-seeded Wisconsin in the semifinals. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament, their 11th consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament, as the No. 5 seed in the South region. Drew Neitzel
Drew Neitzel (born May 7, 1985) is an American former professional basketball player. Basketball career High school Neitzel attended Wyoming Park High School in Wyoming, Michigan. He holds the school career records for points (2,462) and assists (692), while ranking second in the state in assists and sixth in scoring. Graduating in 2004, Neitzel received many honors and awards, including the 2004 Mr. Basketball of Michigan. CBE Hall Of Fame Classic
The Hall of Fame Classic powered by ShotTracker (formerly known as the College Basketball Experience Classic, Guardians Classic and the CBE Hall of Fame Classic) is an annual season-opening college basketball tournament founded in 2001. The tournament is currently held in mid-November. There are twelve teams invited, each representing a different athletic conference. The initial two rounds are played at regional sites on two different days hosted by participating team. The regional hosts automatically advance to the championship rounds at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The championship rounds take place one week after the initial round. Redford, officially the Charter Township of Redford, is a charter township in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The township shares its eastern border with the city of Detroit. The population was 49,504 at the 2020 census. History Springwells Township and Bucklin Township were formally organized and laid out by gubernatorial act on April 12, 1827.
