The 2007–08 2. Bundesliga was the 34th season of the 2. Bundesliga, the second tier of Germany football league. It began on 10 August 2007 and ended on 18 May 2008. Borussia Mönchengladbach, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and 1. FC Köln were promoted to the Bundesliga. Kickers Offenbach, FC Erzgebirge Aue, SC Paderborn 07 and FC Carl Zeiss Jena were relegated to the new 3. Liga. League table In the previous season, 1. FSV Mainz 05, Alemannia Aachen and Borussia Mönchengladbach were relegated to this division from the Bundesliga, and SV Wehen Wiesbaden, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, FC St. Pauli and VfL Osnabrück were promoted from the Regionalliga. Stefan Reisinger
Stefan Reisinger (born 14 September 1981) is a German football manager and former player who most recently managed KFC Uerdingen. Playing career Reisinger began his career with SV Essenbach and joined in 1993 SpVgg Landshut. Until 2001, he played for Landshut and moved in the summer of the same year to SpVgg Greuther Fürth. Reisinger was then in summer 2003 transferred from Greuther Fürth to SV Wacker Burghausen and was in 2005 scouted from TSV 1860 Munich. He signed for a transfer fee of 400.000 € a contract until 30 June 2007. After one year with 1860 Munich, he wanted move to MSV Duisburg but the transfer failed and he returned to former club Greuther Fürth. On 15 April 2009, Reisinger signed a contract with SC Freiburg and joined to the club on 1 July 2009. Chinedu Ogbuke "Edu" Obasi (born 1 June 1986) is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a forward. Club career Lyn Born in Enugu, Nigeria, Obasi started his football career at River Lane Youth Club Enugu and JC Raiders in his homeland country. Obasi went to Norway at the same time as his countryman Mikel John Obi; both players joined Lyn. It was disputed that Obasi signed for Lyn in 2004, but this was rejected by FIFA which ordered both Obasi and Ezekiel Bala returned to Lyn with immediate effect. Obasi made his Lyn debut, in the opening game of the season, where he played 66 minutes, in a 1–1 draw against Fredrikstad. The 2008–09 Bundesliga was the 46th season of the Bundesliga, Germany's premier football league. The Regionalliga () is the fourth tier in the German football league system. Until 1974, it was the second tier in Germany. In 1994, it was introduced as the third tier. Upon the creation of the new nationwide 3. Liga in 2008, it became the fourth tier.
