Serie A De Ecuador
The Liga Pro Betcris, simply known as the Liga Pro, or the Serie A, is a professional football league in Ecuador. At the top of the Ecuadorian football league system, it is the country's premier football competition. Contested by sixteen clubs, it operates a system of promotion and relegation with the Serie B, the lower level of the Primera CategorÃa. The season runs from February to December and is usually contested in multiple stages. The main sponsor is Betcris and it is known as Liga Pro Betcris. While initially not a league, the Serie A has its roots in the national championship between the top teams of Ecuador's two regional leagues. For the first nine editions, teams from Guayaquil and Quito qualified to the competition through their professional regional leagues. It abandoned the qualification format to form a proper league in 1967. Copa Libertadores 2007
The 2007 Copa Libertadores de América (officially the 2007 Copa Toyota Libertadores de América for sponsorship reasons) was the 48th edition of the Copa Libertadores. It started on January 24, 2007 and finished on June 20, 2007. It was won by Boca Juniors, who earned their 6th Copa Libertadores title. They won the Libertadores with Miguel Angel Russo. Óscar Julián Ruiz Acosta (born 1 November 1969, in Villavicencio) is a former Colombian football referee and current referee instructor. He is also a lawyer. Puerto Ordaz
Ciudad Guayana () (in English Guayana City) is a city in BolÃvar State, Venezuela. It stretches 40 kilometers along the south bank of the Orinoco river, at the point where it is joined by its main tributary, the Caronà river. The Caroni crosses the city south-north and divides it on its two main halves: the old town of San Félix in the east, and the new town of Puerto Ordaz () in the west. Polideportivo Cachamay
The Estadio Cachamay is part of the Centro Total de Entretenimiento Cachamay (English: The Total Entertainment Center of Cachamay). It is a multipurpose stadium located on Avenida Guayana in Puerto Ordaz (Part of Ciudad Guayana) Bolivar State, Venezuela. The old stadium was opened in 1980 and subjected to an expansion, modernization and remodeling over the years 1990 and 2006–2007, which involved the demolition of some parts and redesign of its structure to point to double its capacity before 2006, being one of the 9 host stadiums of the 2007 Copa América, when it reopened as Cachamay CTE. Humberto Andrés Suazo Pontivo (; born 10 May 1981), nicknamed ''Chupete'' (in English, ''Lollipop''), is a Chilean professional footballer who plays as a striker for Deportes La Serena. Christian Rogelio BenÃtez Betancourt (1 May 1986 – 29 July 2013), also known as Chucho, was an Ecuadorian professional footballer who played as a striker. He began his career with El Nacional in Ecuador and then joined Santos Laguna, with whom he won the award for Best Player of the Clausura 2008. He spent the 2009–10 season on loan to Premier League club Birmingham City, and then moved to Club América for a Mexican record US$10 million, where he was a regular scorer. He played for El Jaish of the Qatar Stars League at the time of his death. Benitez played 58 times for the Ecuador national football team from his debut in 2005, scoring 24 goals. Sixto Rafael Vizuete Toapanta (born January 13, 1961) is the Ecuadorian football manager. Early career He played for Deportivo Cotopaxi which at that time was promoted to the first division in Ecuador. After his footballing career, he attended University of Leipzig. Coaching career From 1992 to 1995 he was in charge of many small local sides in Ecuador, until he began to coach the youth ranks of Club Deportivo ESPOLI of Quito in 1996.
