2007 Vuelta Al Táchira
The 2007 Vuelta al Táchira was held from 7 to 21 January 2007 in Venezuela. It was a multiple stage road cycling race that took part over seven stages with a total of over 1600 kilometres. Colombian Hernán Buenahora edged his Gobernación del Zulia – AlcaldÃa de Cabimas teammate and defending champion Manuel Medina. Medina won the mountains classification and Venezuelan Jackson RodrÃguez of Loteria Del Táchira-Banfoandes captured the points classification. Luis Hernán DÃaz Villegas (4 November 1945 – 24 November 2021) was a Colombian cyclist. He reached the quarterfinal in the individual pursuit event at the 1972 Summer Olympics. La Grita is a town in the north west of Táchira state, Venezuela. It has a population of 80.000. Located in an Andean valley, La Grita has a beautiful natural setting and fertile land.
