2007 UEFA European Under-17 Championship
The UEFA European Under-17 Championship 2007 Final Tournament was held in Belgium from 2 to 13 May 2007. Top-five teams (two best places from each group plus winner of playoff between third-placed teams) qualified for the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2007. Players born after 1 January 1990 could participate in this competition. England National Under-17 Football Team
The England national under-17 football team, also known as England under-17s or England U17(s), represents England in football at an under-17 age level and is controlled by The Football Association, the governing body for football in England. They are currently coached by Ryan Garry. Competition history FIFA U-17 World Cup England reached the quarter-final stage at both the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup and 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup. In October 2017, England defeated Spain in the final of the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup to become World Champions at this age level for the first time. David Blacha (born 22 October 1990) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for SV Meppen. Born in Germany, he has represented Poland at youth level. Tomasz Kupisz (; born 2 January 1990) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a winger for Ekstraklasa club Jagiellonia Białystok. Club career Kupisz joined Wigan Athletic in February 2007 after a successful trial. Previously he played for KS Piaseczno in Poland.
