2007 Proximus Diamond Games
The 2007 Proximus Diamond Games was a women's professional tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Belgium that was part of the Tier II category of the 2006 WTA Tour. It was the sixth edition of the tournament and was held from 10 February until 18 February 2002. First-seeded Amélie Mauresmo won her third consecutive singles title at the event and earned $88,265 first-prize money. Kim Clijsters made an emotional farewell in front of her home crowd' she retired two tournaments later. WTA Tier II Tournaments
The WTA Tier II tournaments were Women's Tennis Association tennis second-level tournaments held from 1990 until the end of the 2008 season. The line-up of events varied over the years, with tournaments being promoted, demoted or cancelled. Kaia Kanepi
Kaia Kanepi (; born 10 June 1985) is an Estonian professional tennis player. She achieved her career-high ranking of world No. 15 on 20 August 2012 and has won four singles titles on the WTA Tour. Described as a 'resident Grand Slam upset specialist' by ''The Guardian'' - with 19 wins over seeded players in the first week of Grand Slams; only three active players (Victoria Azarenka, Venus Williams and Serena Williams) have more. Vanessa Henke (born 15 January 1981), also known as Vanessa Paffrath, is a German former professional tennis player. Anne Kremer
Anne Kremer (born 17 October 1975) is a Luxembourgish retired tennis player. Anne won two singles titles on the WTA Tour. On 29 July 2002, she achieved her best WTA ranking of world No. 18. Anne completed her schooling at the Athénée de Luxembourg and subsequently studied English and history at Stanford University in California.
