2007 Ondrej Nepela Memorial
The 2007 Ondrej Nepela Memorial was the 15th edition of an annual senior-level international figure skating competition held in Bratislava, Slovakia. It took place between September 20 and 22, 2007 at the Ondrej Nepela Ice Rink. Skaters competed in four disciplines: men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The compulsory dance was the Austrian Waltz. Ondrej Nepela Memorial
The Nepela Memorial ( sk, Memoriál Ondreja Nepelu), formerly known as the Ondrej Nepela Trophy in 2013–15 & 2017 and the Ondrej Nepela Memorial, is an annual senior-level international figure skating competition. Named after Figure skating at the 1972 Winter Olympics, 1972 Olympic champion Ondrej Nepela, the competition has been held annually since 1993. It became part of the ISU Challenger Series in the 2014–15 season. The competition is generally held in Slovakia's capital, Bratislava, except 2009 when it was held in Piešťany. In most years, medals are awarded in four disciplines – single skating, men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, pairs, and ice dancing. Martin Liebers
Martin Liebers (born 22 June 1985 in Berlin) is a German former competitive figure skater. He is a four-time German national bronze medalist (2005–2008), was the Junior National Champion in 2000 and the Novice National Champion in 1997. In 2009 he started training pairs. He partnered with Nicole Gurny and they are being coached by Monika Scheibe. In the 2009–2010 season he intends to compete in both Singles and Pairs. George Kenchadze
Georgi Kenchadze (born August 16, 1986 in Tbilisi, Georgia) is a Bulgarian former figure skater of Georgian descent. He is the 2006 & 2007 Bulgarian national silver medalist and the 2005 national bronze medalist. He is a two-time competitor at the World Junior Championships. Mateusz Chruściński (born 29 November 1987 in Katowice, Poland) is a Polish figure skater who competed as a single skater and pair skater. He teamed up with Joanna Sulej in 2008 and began competing internationally with her in the 2008-2009 season. They represented Poland at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Valtter Virtanen (born 4 June 1987) is a Finnish figure skater. He is a three-time Nordic medalist (gold in 2022, silver in 2016, bronze in 2014) and a six-time Finnish national champion (2013, 2015–2018, 2022). He has qualified for the free skate at three ISU Championships. Personal life Virtanen was born on 4 June 1987 in Kerava, Finland.
