2007 Norwegian Football Cup Final
The 2007 Norwegian Football Cup Final took place at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo on 11 November 2007. The match was contested between heavy favorites Lillestrøm and underdogs Haugesund. With Lillestrøm played in the top tier Tippeligaen and Haugesund in the second tier Adeccoligaen, the Norwegian media dubbed Lillestrøm the biggest favorites to win the cup final since Rosenborg met Fyllingen in 1990. Haugesund surprisingly made it to the cup final, becoming the first team outside Tippeligaen in 10 years to reach the final. However, players from Haugesund admitted to having been lucky with the draw in both the quarterfinals and semifinals, where Haugesund avoided the big clubs. 2007 Norwegian Football Cup
The 2007 Norwegian Football Cup was the 102nd season of Norwegian annual knockout football tournament. The competition started on 19 May 2007 with the first-round games and ended on 11 November 2007 with the final. The defending champions were Fredrikstad. The format of the Cup has not changed for this season what means that, unlike other European cup competitions, all teams (including Tippeligaen ones) entered the Cup in the First Round. In the First and Second Round amateur teams (or at least lower-placed at the time of the draw) were seeded and played the matches at home ground. From the Third Round until the end the draw was random. The winners, Lillestrøm, qualified for the second qualifying round of the 2008–09 UEFA Cup. Bærum Sportsklubb is a Norwegian association football club founded on 26 March 1910. The men's team is currently playing in the Norwegian Second Division, after being relegated from the 1. divisjon in 2015. The club comes from Sandvika, the administrative centre of the municipality Bærum. The club was formed as ''Grane FK'', but quickly changed its name to ''Grane SK'' to include different sporting codes. Eirik Horneland
Eirik Horneland (born 14 March 1975) is a Norwegian football coach and former player. Horneland played as a defender. Following a lengthy career in SK Vard Haugesund and a short loan at FK Haugesund where he saw some Tippeligaen action, he finished his playing career in FK Haugesund which at the time languished in the 1. divisjon. He retired after the 2009 season to become assistant manager, occasionally featuring in friendly matches and for the club's B and C team. Harstad Idrettslag is a Norwegian sports club from Harstad, Troms. It has association football, futsal and nordic skiing sections. Lyn 1896 Fotballklubb () is a Norwegian football club and a department of the sports club Ski- og Fotballklubben Lyn based in Oslo, whose members also participate in Nordic skiing and orienteering. Until 2010, SFK Lyn had two football departments, one professional section and one amateur section.
