2007 Formula BMW ADAC Season
The 2007 Formula BMW ADAC season was a multi-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars held across Europe. The championship featured drivers competing in 1.2 litre Formula BMW single seat race cars. The 2007 season was the tenth and the last Formula BMW ADAC season organized by BMW Motorsport and ADAC before it was merged with Formula BMW UK series into Formula BMW Europe in 2008. The season began at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben on 5 May and finished at the Hockenheimring on 14 October, after eighteen races. Formula BMW
Formula BMW was a junior racing formula for single seater cars. It was positioned at the bottom of the motorsport career ladder alongside the longer established Formula Ford category. Like Formula Ford, it was intended to function as the young kart racing graduate's first experience of car racing. The new formula was created by BMW Motorsport in 2001, with the first of its championships being inaugurated in Germany in 2002. Selected competitors from each series meet in the World Final at the end of each season, with the promise of a Formula One test for the winner. From 2011 onwards BMW ceased to support the Pacific and Europe series, in favour of the Formula BMW Talent Cup. The Talent Cup, which was the final Formula BMW championship in existence, ended after the 2013 season. Johannes Seidlitz (born 13 June 1990) is a German racing driver from Wassertrüdingen. He currently competes in the ADAC GT Masters championship. Racing career Single-seaters After competing in karting between 2001 and 2006, Johannes moved onto Formula BMW, competing in Formula BMW ADAC in 2007. He moved into the British Formula Renault BARC series for 2008. Jens Höing
Jens Höing (born February 21, 1987 in Münster) is a German racing driver. Career Formula BMW After a five-year karting career, Höing moved up into the Formula BMW ADAC championship via a scholarship. Driving for Team Rosberg, Höing scored 2 points in 2005, but stayed in the series for 2006, but changed teams to GU-Racing. He improved from 23rd in 2005 to 14th in 2006, but still didn't crack the higher echelons of the standings, only amassing thirteen points. A new points system was introduced in 2007, which meant that Höing scored over 200 points but yet remained in 14th place overall. James Dominic Grunwell (born 4 February 1989) is a British racing driver, who has lived most of his life in Thailand. 2003 In early 2003, James entered his first official race where the Champion Racing Team was formed under the support of Champion Ferodo. Career Campos-Hull began his career in open wheel motor racing in 2006, racing mostly in the German Formula BMW and Italian Formula Renault championships coming 18th and 23rd respectively.
