Péter Darázs (born October 12, 1985 in Jászberény) is a Hungarian short track speed skater. Darázs competed at the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics. for Hungary. In 2006, he advanced to the quarterfinals in the 500 and 1000 metre races, but did not advance further from there. In the 1500 metres, he advanced to the B Final, after placing 4th in the semifinal. He placed 6th, last out of the field, in the final, and 11th overall. His best finish in Torino was 10th, in the 500 metres. In the 2010 500 metres, he placed fourth in his round one heat, failing to advance. In the 1500 metres, he placed 3rd in his opening heat, but 7th in the semifinal, failing to advance to the finals. His best overall finish was in the 1500, where he placed 19th. As of 2013, Darázs's best performance at the World Championships came in 2006, when he placed 12th in the 1500 metres. Arianna Fontana OMRI (born 14 April 1990) is an Italian short track speed skater, who has won eleven Olympic medals among these two gold medals in the 500m short track, one at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang and the second one at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Her medal haul following the 2022 Games made her the short track skater with the most Olympic medals. Marina Georgieva-Nikolova (Bulgarian: Марина Георгиева-Николова, born June 10, 1980, in Sofia) is a Bulgarian short-track speed-skater. Georgieva-Nikolova competed at the 2002 and 2010 Winter Olympics for Bulgaria. In 2002, she finished fourth in her opening round race of the 1500 metres, failing to advance. Sarah Joanne Lindsay (born 8 June 1980 in Kingston upon Thames, London, England) is a British short track speed skater who has competed at the Winter Olympic Games on three occasions. Lindsay made her debut for the Great Britain team in 1996 and from 2000 was British Ladies Champion for nine consecutive years. She was coached by Nicky Gooch, the winner of the bronze medal in the men's 500 metres event at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway. Lindsay first appeared at the Winter Olympics in the 2002 Games held in Salt Lake City, Utah. She competed in the women's 500, 1000 and 1500 metres short track speed skating events. Evgenia Radanova ( bg, Евгения Раданова; born 4 November 1977) is a Bulgarian female short track speed skater and racing cyclist who has participated in both the Summer and Winter Olympics. She was the world record holder in the 500 m short track distance with 43.671s, which she set in Calgary, Canada on 19 October 2001.
