2007 DFB-Ligapokal
The 2007 DFL-Ligapokal was the 11th and final edition of the DFL-Ligapokal. The competition could not be scheduled in 2008, due to fixture congestion caused by UEFA Euro 2008, and did not return in 2009. An unofficial Super Cup ran in these years, and was made official in 2010, as the DFL-Supercup. The 2007 Ligapokal saw a minor format change, with the 2. Bundesliga champions (in this case, Karlsruher SC) entering in place of the fifth-placed Bundesliga team. Heiko Westermann (born 14 August 1983) is a German former professional footballer who played as a central defender. Club career Greuther Fürth Westermann began his professional career with 2. Bundesliga club Greuther Fürth. He joined the senior squad in July 2002 but did not make his first appearance until 26 January 2003 in a 1–0 win over MSV Duisburg. Peter Løvenkrands
Peter Rosenkrands Løvenkrands (born 29 January 1980) is a Danish professional football manager and former player. He played mainly as a striker or as a left winger, and was known for his pace. Løvenkrands began his career in his native Denmark, winning the 1999 Danish Cup with Akademisk Boldklub. He then moved to Scottish club Rangers where he played for six years and won seven major honours, including two Scottish Premier League titles. He signed for German team Schalke 04 in 2006, but eventually fell out of favour during his last season there, and transferred to Premier League side Newcastle United in the winter of 2008. Thorsten Kinhöfer (born 27 June 1968) is a former German football referee in the Fußball-Bundesliga. Refereeing career Kinhöfer is appointed to matches under the auspices of the German FA since 1994.
