2007 Coppa Italia Final
The 2007 Coppa Italia Final was the final of the 2006–07 Coppa Italia, the 60th season of the top cup competition in Italian football. The match was played over two legs between Roma and Internazionale. The first leg was played in Rome on 9 May 2007, while the second leg was held on 17 May. Roma won the trophy with an aggregate result of 7–4. This was the third final between the clubs, all played in consecutive years, the two having previously met in the 2005 and 2006 finals. 2006–07 Coppa Italia
The 2006–07 Coppa Italia was the 60th edition of the tournament. The final was played, like the two previous editions, between Internazionale and Roma. The first match was played in Rome on 9 May 2007, and the second leg in Milan on 17 May 2007. The score from the first leg was a 6–2 win for Roma, while in the second leg Inter beat Roma 2–1, which crowned Roma cup winners for the eighth time. Formula The match format was first introduced in the 2005–06 season. Participating in the competition were all the teams from Serie A (20 teams) and B (22 teams), 28 teams from Serie C1 and C2, and 2 teams from non professional leagues ("Dilettanti"), 72 teams in total. Christian Panucci (; born 12 April 1973) is an Italian former association football, footballer and Manager (association football), manager. In his playing career he played as a Defender (association football), defender. Francesco Toldo
Francesco Toldo (; born 2 December 1971) is an Italian retired footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is regarded by pundits as one of the greatest goalkeepers of his generation. Luciano Spalletti (; born 7 March 1959) is an Italian football manager and a former player. He is currently the manager of Italian Serie A club Napoli. Playing career Born in Certaldo, Metropolitan City of Florence, Spalletti started his career as a semi-professional footballer in his mid-20s. Max Tonetto
Max Tonetto (; born 18 November 1974) is a retired Italian footballer who played as a midfielder. A versatile naturally left-footed player, his preferred position was on the left flank in midfield, although he was often used as a left-back, and could also play as a left wing-back. Marco Cassetti (; born 29 May 1977) is an Italian former footballer who played as a defender. Born in Brescia, he has previously played in Serie A for Verona, Lecce and Roma and in England with Watford. Cassetti won five caps for Italy at full international level. Cristian Eugen Chivu (; born 26 October 1980) is a Romanian professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of Inter Milan's under-19 side. A defender, he began his career with hometown club CSM Reșița before moving to FC Universitatea Craiova in 1998, leaving Romania to join Dutch club Ajax a season later.
