2007 Colo-Colo Season
The 2007 season was the 76th season for Club Social y Deportivo Colo-Colo, a Chilean football club based in Macul, Santiago. In the Primera División Chilena - the top tier of Chilean football - Colo-Colo won the ''Apertura'' (first half-season) tournament and came third in the ''Clausura'' (second half-season). They were eliminated in the first round of the knock-out stage in the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana competitions. Colo-Colo
Club Social y Deportivo Colo-Colo () is a Chilean professional football club based in Macul, Santiago. Founded in 1925 by David Arellano they play in the Chilean Primera División, from which they have never been relegated. The team has played its home games at Estadio Monumental David Arellano since 1989. Colo-Colo is regarded as the most successful club of Chilean football. Colo-Colo has won more Primera División de Chile (32) than any other Chilean club and a record thirteen Copa Chile titles. Sebastián Cejas
Christian Sebastián Cejas (born 21 April 1975) is an Argentine former footballer that played as goalkeeper and his last club was Chacarita Juniors of the Primera B Nacional. Nicknamed ''Terremoto'' (Earthquake), he also played for teams such as Newell's Old Boys, Fiorentina, and Colo-Colo. Career Cejas began his career in 1994 in his native country Argentina, where he appeared in 170 games and scored six goals for Newell's Old Boys. From there he was transferred to Roma in 2001. While with Newell's Old Boys, Cejas was a regular with the first team. That was not the case while he was with Roma, where he never appeared in a match. Moisés Villarroel (Chilean Footballer)
Moisés Fermín Villarroel Ayala (born 12 February 1976) is a Chilean football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. Career He played for Colo-Colo, where he was part of the 2006 apertura, 2006 clausura, 2007 apertura, 2007 clausura, 2008 clausura championship teams. Rainer Klaus Wirth Castro (born 25 October 1982) is a Chilean former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Universidad Católica Born in Santiago in 1982, a son of the famous goalkeeper Oscar Wirth, Rainer joined Universidad Católica youth ranks in 1994, when he was 12. Rodrigo Javier Millar Carvajal (born 3 November 1981) is a Chilean footballer who last played as a midfielder for Primera B de Chile club Coquimbo Unido. José Luis Jerez Cerna (born 26 June 1978) is a Chilean former professional football midfielder. In his prime, Jerez was known for his explosiveness and ball skills. Miguel Augusto Riffo Garay (born 21 June 1981) is a Chilean former professional football player and the current assistant manager of Coquimbo Unido.
