The 24th edition of the Men's Asian Amateur Boxing Championships were held from June 4 to June 10, 2007 in wrestling palace of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Ulaanbaatar
Ulaanbaatar (; mn, Улаанбаатар, , "Red Hero"), previously anglicized as Ulan Bator, is the capital and most populous city of Mongolia. It is the coldest capital city in the world, on average. Akhil Kumar (born 27 March 1981) is an Indian boxer who has won several international and national boxing awards. He practices an "open guarded" boxing style. Bakhyt Abdirakhmanuly Sarsekbayev ( kk, Бақыт Әбдірахманұлы Сәрсекбаев; born 29 November 1981) is a Kazakhastani amateur boxer who won gold at the 2008 Summer Olympics at Welterweight, and won gold medal at the 2006 Asian Games at Welterweight, and won bronze at the 2002 Asian Games at Light Welterweight. Manoj Kumar (boxer)
Manoj Kumar (born 10 December 1986), is an Indian boxing, boxer who won a gold medal in the Boxing at the 2010 Commonwealth Games – Light welterweight, light welterweight division at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. He hails from the village of Rajound in the Kaithal district of Haryana. Early life and debut in boxing Kumar was born on 10 December 1986 in Rajound village, 30 km from Kaithal, Haryana and comes from a Ror family. His father Sher Singh retired from the Indian Army, while his mother is a housewife. Byambyn Tüvshinbat ( mn, Бямбын Түвшинбат; born 27 March 1987 in Ulaanbaatar) is a Mongolian boxer. He competed in the 2007 and 2011 Asian Amateur Boxing Championships (winning silver in 2007 and bronze in 2011), the 2006 and 2010 Asian Games, the 2006 World University Boxing Championship and the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto International Boxing Tournament (where he won the Men's Light Welterweight tournament, defeating Mashhurbek Ruziyev of Uzbekistan). Serik Sapiyev ( kk, Серік Жұманғалиұлы Сәпиев, born November 16, 1983) is an amateur boxer from Kazakhstan who won the world title in the light welterweight (-64 kg) division in 2005 and 2007 and Olympic Gold 2012 at welterweight. Sapiyev has signed up for the new AIBA professional league, called AIBA Pro Boxing (APB), which will launch in autumn 2013. Houmān not to be confused with Houman, ( fa, هومان) is one of the most famous Turanian heroes in Shahnameh, the national epic of Greater Iran. Houmān is famous for his bravery, loyalty, and chivalry, such that even Iranians who are longtime enemies of Turanians admire his personality. He is a descendant of Tur, a son of Viseh and brother of Piran. Houmān is the highest ranking Turanian commander and after Piran, he is the second leading member of Viseh clan. Houman first appears in the story of Rostam and Sohrab, where Afrasiab sends him with an army of 12,000 men to accompany Sohrab in his journey to Iran. He has been instructed by Afrasiab to not let Sohrab recognize his father, Rostam, so that they fight together and one of them kill the other.
